Holiday house close to the beach

Only 300 meters from child-friendly sandy beach with dunes, this lovely renovated holiday home sleeps 7 people on a large 1600 m2 undisturbed grounds with old plantation.

The house is furnished with 2 bedrooms with double beds and 2 rooms with bunk / angle beds. Furthermore, tiled bathroom with shower and laundry / dry-pillar and cozy combined living / dining room with wood burning stove in the open kitchen.

The house has two large wooden terraces, respectively, to the south and west. In the garden there are both sandpit, playhouse, swings, trampoline and campfire. Various bikes are available.

Hundested town is only 3km away and offers a variety of shopping facilities as well as a nice harbor environment with brewery, ice house, miniature golf and several restaurants. Along the coast there is ample opportunity for fishing and surfing.

Great little spot for family getaway
We had a wonderful week here in early August. The house is conveniently close to the beach on foot and neighboring town center by car. The two outside areas are lovely and well-positioned for the morning and afternoon sun. Our 5-month-old loved the trees in the yard and the nature path leading to the beach. :) Located about a hour outside of Copenhagen by car, it is very easy to get away for some peace and quiet. Mikkel made the check-in process a breeze and was very fast in answering our inquiries.

Hundested vacation
Nice bungalow which is a bit old. Everything clean and available what you need. It was enough for us. But it's not for everyone. The floor needs to be stabilized in the kitchen area. It moves when you enter. The bikes are old and not suitable. Who else rides a pink bike? Otherwise we really liked it. Maybe again.

Dieses Haus ist nicht wie beschrieben "Neu renoviert"
Uns ist durchaus bewusst, dass unsere Bewertung sehr stark von den anderen Bewertungen abweicht. Wie es dazu kommen kann ist für uns nicht erklärbar. Ich werde die Bewertung anhand unserer zweiwöchigen Erfahrung schildern. Wir erreichten das Haus um 14.30 Uhr, also 30 Minuten zu früh. Dadurch trafen wir die Vermieter an. Sehr freundliche Familie, die uns kurz vor ihrer Abfahrt auf die vorhandene Maus aufmerksam machte. Die Mausefalle sei unter der Spüle und vielleicht hätten wir ja mehr Glück als sie, diese zu fangen. Hatten wir nicht, aber die Maus haben wir gesehen. Bewertung nun in Stichworten (Fotos dazu existieren): - S1: Der Topper war auf der umgedrehten Seite voller alter Urin-/Schwitzflecken. Unser Teenager wollte daraufhin nicht dort schlafen. Die Schrankoberseite war stark mit Spinnweben bedeckt und verstaubt. - S2 (Doppelbett im Haus): Kaum Stauraum, was übrigens das gesamte Haus betrifft- wie hier 8 Menschen 14 Tage Urlaub machen sollen, ist uns nicht klar. Die Waschmaschine würde sehr oft laufen). Des Weiteren im S2 ein verschmutzter Topper und vermutete Bettwanzen. Abgenutzte Matratzen. Teppichboden fleckig. Nachts viele Spinnen, die aus den Ecken krabbeln. - Kinderzimmer: Sehr klein, sehr verschmutzt in den Ecken und unter den "Betten", sowie auf den oberen Regalen; die Matratzen alt und abgenutzt, nur für kleine Kinder geeignet. -Wohnzimmer: Zwei kleine Sitzgelegenheiten, abgenutzt. -Esszimmer: Stühle aus den 70er Jahren, dementsprechend unkomfortabel - Küche: Abgenutzt, das hat nichts mit Shabby-Chic zu tun. Schmuddelig. Spülmaschine (40cm) sieht fertig aus. Das Haus war sicherlich vor 50 Jahren ein Träumchen, aber hier müsste dringend Geld investiert werden. Keine Anleitung für den TV, der Wasserboiler ermöglicht Duschen f. 2 Menschen maximal. Ich möchte wirklich wissen, wie die Menschen leben, die dieses Haus mit 5 Sternen bewerten. Das Wlan reicht nicht für TV und weitere Geräte, keine Anleitung f. das TVGerät. Die AC ist angeblich nur eine Heizung und kann nicht genutzt werden(die Anleitung sagt etwas anderes); alte Töpfe, kein Strauraum, auch nicht im Bad; Verlängerungskable EN MASSE (Stromsicherheit?). Das Trampolin ohne Netz (Eigentümer haftet, zumindest in BRD). Einzig die Lage ist sehr schön. Strände super. Und die Menge an Geschirr ist gut. Wir hatten nur Glück, dass das Wetter gut war und wir fast nur am Strand waren.

Schön gelegenes und gemütliches Häuschen
Das Haus stimmt mit den Bildern überein. Es ist z.T. etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber das stört nicht wirklich. Als wir angekommen sind, war alles sauber und der gemütliche Gesamteindruck hat gleich überzeugt. Insgesamt ist es durch die vielen Fenster hell und freundlich. Die Kinder haben den großen Garten und das Trampolin geliebt, auch wenn uns als Eltern manchmal das Herz stehen blieb, da ja kein Netz drumherum gespannt ist. Die Spielsachen im Spielehäuschen sind schon sehr abgespielt aber wir haben noch eine heile Schaufel und einen Eimer gefunden. Für Familien mit kleineren Kindern wäre es perfekt, wenn diese mal ausgetauscht werden könnten. Aber im Notfall kann man ja auch selber etwas kaufen und dort für die anderen Feriengäste stehen lassen. Das Bad ist einfach gehalten aber für die Woche vollkommen ausreichend. Die Betten in den Kinderzimmern sind nur für Kinder oder kleine Menschen (ca.165 cm) geeignet. Das Doppelbett hat eine weiche aber nicht durchgelegende Matratze. Sollten vielleicht Menschen mit Rückenproblemen wissen. Die Küche beinhaltet alles, was man braucht. Die Töpfe und Pfannen waren schon älter. Was ich aber vermisst habe, war ein Staubsauger. Aber vielleicht habe ich ihn auch einfach nicht gefunden... Die Lage ist wirklich schön. Ruhig und innerhalb von ca. 7 Minuten vom wunderschönen Strand entfernt. Insgesamt ein schönes Haus, in dem man seinen Urlaub genießen kann.

The house is fantastic. Rustic, not "polished" but a true country house. Mikkel made sure everything was set to go on short notice. The only little thing would be to double check the size of your kids, as the extra beds in the kid rooms are small, but also super cozy! Great place and happy we went.
