6 Clock Row, Thornham, Norfolk
Located in the coastal village of Thornham, 6 Clock Row is a charming example of a traditional brick and flint Norfolk cottage. Situated just off the main road and with lovely gardens, this little hideaway is perfect for walkers, beach-goers, birdwatchers, nature lovers, cyclist, sailors, and those who simply love to explore this magnificent part of Norfolk.
Exuding cosiness, the sitting room features plenty of comfy seating and an open fire which provides extra warmth and emits ambient light on chillier evenings. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything that guests need to comfortably cater at home. Plan the day ahead over a morning cuppa or gather to share some deliciously prepared local produce around the farmhouse table in the dining area. Upstairs, the master bedroom hosts a double bed, and there is a cot for young guests. With a bunk bed provided in bedroom two, 6 Clock Row is a great family friendly property. A good-sized family bathroom offering bath with shower over completes the accommodation. Outside to the front, there is a lovely garden with a summerhouse separated from the front door by the parking area. An enclosed courtyard area is at the rear of the property boasting an outside wet room, which is ideal for hosing down dogs (or children!) after a trip to the beach.
Located in the middle of the village, 6 Clock Row boasts some wonderful places to eat right on the doorstep. A four minute walk away is the award-winning gastropub The Orange Tree. Similarly close the other way you'll find Thornham Deli which offers great breakfasts and relaxed dining. Beyond this a walk across the fields or short drive away there is a selection of eateries and shops at the Drove Orchards, including superb fish and chips or pizza at Eric's. Walkers and birdwatchers are spoilt for choice with the North Norfolk coast path moments away, and RSPB Titchwell a short drive away. Thornham also has its own beautiful, often deserted, wide expanse of sandy beach which is waiting to be discovered. The vast beach at Brancaster with its resident colony of seals is a mere ten minute drive way. The Coasthopper bus stops in the village, making it easy to get anywhere along the coast.

The cottage was good value for money compared to other similar properties nearby and itâs in a great location. It was warm and comfortable and spacious enough for 2 of us with the dog. The decor and furniture are a bit dated but the Wi-Fi, tv and kitchen appliances were fine for us. Overall if youâre looking for somewhere suitable for a couple/family and dog, close to the beach, pubs and the deli for a decent price and youâre not fussed about a dated interior then this is for you.
Nicely located. Bit shabby decoration wise and outdated. The rooms could do with a bit of updating, not too much as you would lose the intrinsic charm. Storage heaters are dreadfully dated and proper central heating put in; just looked shabby.
