Title: Misleading Photos Conveniently located right off the I-45 feeder road, this hotel is surprisingly quiet despite its constructoon surroundings. The parking lot sits between an abandoned gas station and a Dairy Queen that’s currently closed for remodel, and it backs up to a privacy fence for Super 8 with better parking access. Pets are allowed, which is nice, but if you have allergies, be prepared — my sinuses definitely noticed. Hotels.com rated this property an 8 (“very good”), but that feels overly generous. It definitely has more of a 2.5-star atmosphere. I chose it mainly because other nearby options had reviews mentioning bed bugs, roaches or safety issues, and this one was about $50 cheaper than the well lit Comfort Inn up the road with the same low rating.The photos online seem heavily edited (possibly AI-enhanced) or taken years ago. The lobby furniture is worn and tattered, which immediately gave me pause. Unfortunately, I booked online, nonrefundable. I arrived close to midnight, exhausted — lesson learned. The room itself was dated with mismatched paint patches and worn furniture, though the bed and linens were clean and comfortable. The shower base was clean, but mildew was visible in the caulk. No elevator — stairs only — and the washer/dryer area was in the main hallway downstairs was unappealing. Overall, the place was generally clean but clearly aged. I wouldn’t call it a total loss, but it’s definitely a “last resort” stop the tired or frugal.

So the first thing I look at when I walk into a hotel room is how clean is it. I walked into my room and looked on the counters and there was some sort of residue. As I looked I saw a roach. Later that night I saw multiple. Went down to the lobby and discussed the issue and asked for a different room to which they said they were sold out of rooms. Now mind you I’m by myself I see how many cars are in the parking lot and I know they are not sold out. So then they said we will come sweep it like that’s what takes care of roaches but I went ahead and said yea so they can atleast see the roaches. An older gentlemen comes to the room with an industrial sized can of RAID and proceeds to fog the room with it then and sees it out. So now from the time I go to bed until I wake up I got to huff RAID spray all night. I go to check out and I got nothing. Not an I’m sorry for the condition of your room not a discount not anything. I will never be back and I have already discussed it with others I know.

Rooms were new. everything was great in the room.outside of room was good.no noise thru walls.most customers good people and quite.lady at front desk was nice and helpful on information.good price for that room.outside of hotel.they are working on the roads in front of and beside hotel.nothing that can be fixed by hotel.we will go back to it after roadwork finished
