Each of the two bedrooms is thoughtfully furnished for a restful nightâs sleep, and two modern bathrooms add extra convenience -making this an easy, comfortable stay whether you're travelling as a pair or a group of four.
Located just a short walk from the Hurunui River, Flax Cottage is a great base for fishing, walking, or cycling, with Brown trout and Salmon fishing spots nearby. Hanmer Springs is a scenic 40-minute drive away, perfect for a day trip of exploring, soaking in thermal pools, or indulging in local cuisine.
Flax Cottage shares its site with Tussock Cottage and can be booked on its own or together with its neighbour for a larger group stay.
