:::: IS OUR HOME A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR VACATION? ::::
Above all, we really love it when our guests have a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing time at the cabin! Check out our reviews!
We are very accommodating and hospitable hosts, and our guests have always enjoyed their stay with us. Due to an unfortunate recent experience, we want to emphasize that we are ONLY PERMITTED FOR A MAXIMUM OF 2 PEOPLE OF ANY AGE. We love dogs; however, our HOA does not permit pets in rental units :(.
Due to immune system considerations of the homeowner (potential chemical transference to the furniture and pillows), and fire regulations (we're in the forest), and the HOA Insurance Coverage, smoking is not permitted on the property (including cigarettes, cigars, vaping, and 420). If you use chewing tobacco, please be discreet and respectful at all times.
To monitor bear activity, snowfall, and deliveries, as well as provide for the security of our guests and property, our cabin is equipped with Ring camera devices at the front and back doors.
:::: TAHOE TIME ::::
As this is also our family retreat, you'll find it isn't just another typical vacation rental—it's truly a home away from home.
With quiet, full-time owners throughout the complex, this convenient, free-standing (no shared walls) cabin is a "getaway from it all" gem.
This is bear country, and you might just see our local friend, Bernie the Bear. As long as you do not leave any food (or trash with any smells) outside the cabin, in your car, or near an open door/window, Bernie is just a huge (kinda smelly) fuzzball safely ambling by on the hunt for a picnic basket.
:::: ABOUT THE CABIN ::::
Enjoy the cozy living room, featuring a sofa, two recliners, a Smart TV, and a gas stove. The open floor plan features an adjacent dining area and kitchen. With three windows, the area is light and cozy, and affords lovely views of the trees.
The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig coffee pot, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, electric stove, and oven. Although there are typically some spices and condiments, we are unable to guarantee the quantity, quality, or variety. Please bring any must-have ingredients for your home-cooked meals. We provide a few starter pods of coffee to get you started.
The sunny, first-floor, large master bedroom has a California King bed (and another Smart TV) - it's an amazing spot to wake up in every day with a large window that looks out into the trees right off the back deck. The door to the back deck is right outside the bedroom.
The one full bath is located just across the hall from the primary bedroom, offering a tub/shower combo. Bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for two people are provided. There is a starter supply of toilet paper (3 rolls), as well as some shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, and hand soap.
Relax (or nap!) on the sofa upstairs in the forward loft while reading, gaming, or watching a movie on the Smart TV. It's a lovely space that's open to the first floor, with high ceilings that highlight the floor-to-ceiling windows.
***** The upstairs back bedroom offers a queen-size bed, cozy sitting area, and a sliding door that looks out into the trees. **** If you will be using the second bedroom, an additional $25 fee is required by the cleaning service, which you will leave for them on the counter when you check out. We don't mind you using this bedroom (hardly anyone does, which is the only reason we mention it), but please let us know in advance so we can let the service know to bring extra linens when you check out. *****
Wifi download speeds of 300 Mbps make it possible for Zoom calls with a virtual background (hint: so your boss won't even know you're in Tahoe!).

::: BEACH TIME :::
**** At this time, the private beaches in Incline Village have been ordinance-restricted to homeowner / FT residents only. Thank you for understanding this isn't a preference on our part; it is the ordinance.****
Sand Harbor Beach (the one featured in all the North Tahoe photos for its beauty) requires reservations to help manage parking and traffic, but it is absolutely worth it! When driving to Sand Harbor from Incline, keep in mind that there are two entry points. The first entry point is for boats only, so stay to the left and proceed about 1/16th of a mile further to enter through the second entry point.
