Excellent location for anything central. Staff are always superbly friendly and helpful. Convenient & efficient check ins/outs. Great functional rooms with high cleanliness standards that are great for short stays and very affordable. Wifi is good. Can't complain, I use this place a lot and it has never disappointed

Old hotel with character but modernised tastefully. Everything you need was in the comfortable room and had a lovely view over the castle and river Ness.

Worth a visit.
Situated centrally in Inverness, beside the river and facing the castle. Only a few minutes walk from main shopping area.Overall a comfortable stay in an older hotel. Hotel has in the main had a face-lift. Staff very friendly in all departments. An ideal base for a touring holiday or short stay. No parking at hotel itself but a few minutes walk to Cathedral carpark (council facility not cathedral property) £5 for 24 hour period (at time of writing) Good alround place to stay.

Bathroom door of our triple room didn't close all the way and scraped on the floor. Noticed some mould on some things in the bathroom.
