Beautiful old house, very quiet, nice furnishings. Stayed in a single room with bath down the hall. It worked out very well. Near the bus line. Convenient place to stay my night before flying out of EDI. Very helpful home owner with information how to get around, booked my taxi. Recommend and would stay here again.

I can only add my praises to the mountain of praise left by others. Juniper Lodge is a wonderful place to stay; it is near enough the to the city centre to walk but far enough out to offer peace and tranquility. The house itself exudes a sense of quiet and calm. My single room was spotlessly clean, with everything I could possibly need thoughtfully provided, including the delicious home made treats others have mentioned. The private bathroom a few steps down the hall was far more spacious than any en-suite, with a shower that wouldn’t be out of place in a spa. Paolo, the host and owner, was welcoming and friendly. I hope I will have the opportunity to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to solo travellers.

High quality lodge - tastefully furnished
Lodge was conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the High Street; the room was clean, comfortable and very nicely furnished. No breakfast was provided, but the host kindly left us some tasty treats in the room when we checked in. The bedding and towels were very nice (and frankly much better than what I was expecting). Can't recommend enough and would definitely stay again.

The host was a charming gentleman the room was so spotless the bed was so comfortable a perfect night sleep was had every night. A small thing was no tv in the room it would have been nice and breakfast option. That aside would stay again enjoyed our stay emmensly thank you hope to meet again
