The Olde Homestead just newly remodeled offers many amenities and is perfectly located in the country just on the outskirts of city limits with easy access right off Hwy 21 on a very short dead-end lane. A large deck in front, a patio in the back and a fire pit (wood provided) under the trees allow you to enjoy the great outdoors, gaze up at the stars in the night sky, listen to the sounds of nature and possibly see a deer or turkey. A definite bonus is the garage/recreation room which is perfect on rainy days to play ping pong and corn hole and safely store your bicycles. You will also find the BBQ grill (charcoal provided) plus another table and chairs to use. If you do enjoy animals and/or left your beloved pets at home, you might be greeted my the small very friendly neighbor's dog, Sophie or feed a carrot over the fence to our horse, Fancy.

We are close to outstanding parks such as Fort Davidson (1 mile), Shepherd Mountain Bike and Hiking Park (1.4 miles), Elephant Rocks State Park (2 miles), Taum Sauk State Park (7 miles), Johnson Shut-Ins State Park (12 miles), Millstream Gardens (11 miles) plus so many conservation areas.
