The cabin was excellent. Clean, plenty of room for my wife and I and 5 grandkids. Wood burning stove in living area kept us toasty; maybe a little too toasty. Kids made s’mores over fire pit. One problem. Be sure and call or text property manager. Directions can be confusing and only tell you how to find cabin if you’re coming in from west side of town. Coming in from the east directions not given. But we’d gladly do it again and again. Property managers are nice.

This cabin was everything we thought it would be and more. It was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, well stocked and very comfortable. The setting is private and peaceful with babbling creek, woods and birdsong. The screened in porch out the back was perfect for morning coffee and evening dining. We hope to return and would highly recommend to others.

The Secluded and Tranquil Cabin near Red River Gorge has everything you need, and more charm than described in the listing. The property was located about 50min from Slade and the majority of the main hikes. That made it a quiet reprieve from the business of travelers coming to hike. The cabin was so nice, comfortable, and has all the amenities you’ll need. If we hike this area again we will stay here or one of this owner’s other properties!!

This cabin is great. This was our second year there as a family. Last year my sister booked it for my grandsons birthday since it is 5 minutes from my daughters home, and we liked it so much I booked it again this year. We will definitely be back next year. It is quaint, cozy, and secluded, the wood burning stove warms the whole cabin. The outdoor flat top griddle make it easy to fix breakfast for the whole family, and all the windows make it nice to watch the snow fall while sitting in front of the fire.
