Transportation is available to and from the airport, to and from the stadium, and anywhere else the renters would like to go, for an addittional fee. deposit required upon booking. Great place for Wildlife, Weddings, Family Retreats, Getaways, Date Nights, Proposals, Work Retreats, etc... The cabin is located an hour north of the Twin Cities in rural Minnesota on Long Lake, which is a 390 acre, DNR stocked lake and within the Lake Improvement District. The home is located on the NW shores and four houses down from Captain's Grill, Bar & Resort (food, entertainment and Wedding's, etc.) The lake facing 1200sqft retreat is located in the lower level of our home, with its own separate entrance. It has one full bedroom with queen bed & TV, a full bath with jet tub, a large family room with 55" satellite TV, oversized furniture, see-through fireplace and another room with a sitting area, a microwave and small refrigerator for convenience. Meals, transportation, entertainment and other accommadtions or activities are available for an additional fee. Owner's hobbies include: photography, cooking, gardening, entertaining, party planning, etc... Great location to a variety of Northern activities, snowmobile, ice fishing, boating, fishing, water sking,hunting, nature watching etc.. BBQ, Fire Pit, Cable, WIFI, Gazabo, Flower garden's, Water Features, DVD Movie's & PlayStation are just a few of the details of this property. Cleaning fee $/week. Refundable damage deposit fee required @ . per person, per week. It will be refunded after stay considering it's clean and no damage has occurred. This is a smoke free, a pet free stay. If you want to bring a pet, it will need to be approved prior to stay and pet fee's will apply pending the size and type of animal. Bonfire wood available on site at a nominal fee. Not a quiet get a way!!
Where to begin? First of all bring your ear plugs if you book here. Our experience was anything but pleasant at this VRBO. Renter’s beware! The owner lives upstairs and is very noisy and inconsiderate of the people who he has rented his basement to. The ceiling of the unit has suspended tile with no sound buffer from the upstairs floor. You can hear virtually any and everything upstairs, including, but not limited to, a drunken woman yelling, stumbling around and passing out, followed by loud snoring. If that was not enough the owner himself gets up @ 4am and proceeds to go in and out onto his deck opening/closing the the sliding door multiple times, all before the sun was up. If you are looking for relaxation and/or peace and quiet we certainly suggest not to stay at this place! Oh and please note there is no kitchen or coffee maker. One good post, he did let us check in early and provided an iron.

Excellent Experience!
Norbert and Tami were exceptional hosts. We had a great time. We had to wash our dishes outside by the faucet but that was not something that caused too much headache. The hosts had a gas grill for us which worked great! I would stay at this Cabin again!!

We enjoyed our week long stay. Everything was wonderful, the only thing I would change is I wish it had a kitchen. Tough staying a week with no kitchen, just a small frig and microwave. But we made it work and everything else made up for that. Beautiful place!

Great place in a great location
We had a wonderful time. The home was perfect and the views of the lake were great! The location is about an hour from the Twin Cities - perfect for a weekend getaway. The communication with host was helpful and quick. Would recommend. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

It was very nice, clean and comfortable. It would have been better to know that it was an apartment under someones home, we were expecting a little house of our own, made us a little uncomfortable, but it was a pleasant experience.
