3 BR Oceanfront Villa with Pool
Located on a coral beach, only feet from the crashing waves of the Caribbean. The view, the sound, and the feel of the never-ending waves and Caribbean breeze create an experience you will love and not soon forget.
Villa Amistad was professionally designed by a noted architect to maximize one's experience with the sights and sounds of the waves crashing ashore. Featuring floor-to-ceiling "walls of glass" serving all common rooms and master bedroom suites. Most anywhere you find yourself in the villa, your eyes will be drawn to remarkable views. In the kitchen, in the dining room, living room, patio, master suite, and balcony, and even from the master shower, your eyes will be fixed on the beautiful Caribbean.
Not to be outdone by the amazing view are the sounds of the crashing waves and the feel of the never-ending Caribbean breezes. Villa Amistad is set apart as being one of the few places on the planet where you can have such an experience from your own backyard. One could watch for hours, the 5-6 ft frigate birds floating effortlessly, the many small fishing boats, and cruise ships at night, plus the never-ending waves. And as a practical benefit of the breezes, rarely is there a mosquito to be found.
Here are a couple of can't-miss features. From the king suites, you will be treated to some great sunrises. Just walk onto the balcony, grab a lounger, and start snapping pictures. Next, if you happen to be at the villa on or around the full moon you will get to enjoy some spectacular views of the full moon, rising over the Caribbean ocean.
Back to the villa itself, we provide a light daily maid service (except Sundays). Guests are greeted upon arrival by an English-speaking host to provide an introduction to the facilities and answer any questions concerning your stay.

For those unfamiliar with Isla Mujeres, Isla is the original Mexican resort from before Cancun existed. Today, Isla is now the leading day trip from Cancun, with thousands visiting daily. Isla offers a nice break from the "unreality" of the Cancun all-inclusives. Yes, Isla has a world-class beach, an underwater national park, and other notable attractions, but what sets Isla apart is the vibe. Starting with the happy people, the vibe is infectious. It's hard not to be happy in Isla. It's probably why there is a significant ex-pat community on Isla.
We loved staying at Villa Amistad. Highlights were the proximity to the north end of the island (without staying directly in it) and the pool. We used it way more than we thought we would! Lovely property with lots of space for our group of 8. The AC worked very well! We would stay here again!
The house was great, beautiful size and clean. Great master suite and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom on main floor is on the smaller size but worked for our group. The views are extraordinary and the balcony off the master perfect along with the rooftop. Pool was nice but water was ice cold not really able to enjoy it. Great location could walk everywhere if you didnât want to rent a golf cart. Owner was extremely nice and the staff were phenomenal.
We spent 10 wonderful days at Villa Amistad North. The location was ideal - close enough to the action in Centro but not in it. Being on the Malecon made for easy walks into town and to the beaches. Being on the Caribbean side allowed to hear/see the ocean waves and feel the breeze especially from the rooftop palapa. Communication with the staff was great. Weâd stay here again. The villa is on a busy street out the back so make sure your guests have ear plugs.
We stayed at Villa Amistad for a week over the new year. The villa was beautiful just as advertised. It was so nice to go to sleep to the sound of the waves wake up to the ocean view. The pool was perfect temperature and a nice was to enjoy some sunshine and relaxation. We played cards in the palapa and watch a lot football on TV. Bonus that they provide drinking water in a dispenser so we never needed to worry about that. Gordon provided a wonderful list of restaurants to visit. Youâll def want a golf cart to explore the island- there is so much to see. But there is plenty within walking distance if youâd rather chill. We went to three different beach clubs which was a nice way to experience the different beaches. We will definitely be returning!
