Beautiful Cabin in the Forest, 1 acre, 35 min to Yellowstone

Wonderful cabin with 3 bedrooms (3rd bedroom is a loft, sleeps 7) nestled in the woods on one acre of quiet forested property, close to Yellowstone National Park. Pine Shadows fits the perfect scene for your mountain getaway.

The cabin is 5 mins to the Island Park Reservoir at Buttermilk, close to Lakeside Lodge where you can rent jet skis, boats, and kayaks. Secluded, quiet, and surrounded by a forest of pine trees. A large circular driveway and plenty of parking provides the room you need for your group. ATV and snowmobiling trails are just around the corner along with rivers for fishing, floating, and swimming such as Big Springs, Mack's, and Buffalo River. Just 35 mins to the West entrance to Yellowstone. Henry's Fork of the Snake River and Henry's Lake is a famous world-class fly fishing spot you won't want to miss and so close.

In the winter, the community roads make great places for sledding behind a snowmobile or four-wheeler. Or for a nice walk down back roads lined with snow-capped trees.

Pine Shadows has been newly furnished and ample room for 12 visitors. There are two king bedrooms, a large family-style loft with two bunk beds, and 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked to make your stay easy. A nice mudroom for leaving all your gear is part of the cozy and quaint cabin. The large circular driveway and a spacious lot make it easy to pull and park a trailer.

Enjoy the outdoor fire pit, BBQ grill, and patio seating as you soak up the sun, breathe the fresh mountain air, or simply star gaze. In the summer, we also provide a basketball hoop, ping pong, foosball table, an outdoor fridge, and extra tables in the large and spacious garage for an extra $200 and upon request. This cabin is waiting for your vacation memories to come true.

We also own and manage a 3 bedroom, 2 bath property next door to accommodate a large family gathering. Property # ID 1935077 VB which sleeps 10.

Great place and clean
Great, clean place though it’s a bit of a distance from the west gate YNP- though we knew that when we booked. The only surprise was that we were expected to haul out our own trash - and the place to take it to is closed Wednesday and Thursday- which we happen to be checking out on. The house rule book says that to plan accordingly if checking out on those days- not sure how that’s possible since we didn’t know about it till we got there. We just chose to pay the $35/- charge for not taking out the garbage with us. Having said that, it’s a great place with a lot of beds, fairly clean and well maintained.

Great property and amazing hosts!
The cabin is secluded and comfy. The amenities were great for the 10 of us staying there. We got to meet the hosts in person and they are amazing. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get to Island Park, make a trip to Yellowstone, or just wanting to get up in the mountains.

We were looking for something close to Yellowstone and rustic. We really enjoyed staying at this location. Very attentive hosts checked in on us to be sure we had what we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to stay!
We were here in the summer during our Yellowstone/Tetons trip, although I could see that it would be a fantastic winter getaway. The house is very clean and modern, with so many cute and cozy touches to make it feel homey. The fire pit is a great perk. The driveway is big enough for a little football. And the back porch is amazing for morning coffee. Couldn't be happier.

Yellowstone Family Trip
This was a great cabin nestled outside of West Yellowstone (30 minutes). We loved the thoughtfulness of the cabin-it had everything we needed! From tape to kitchen supplies, we were set. The cabin was roomy and we loved the separation in rooms (upstairs/downstairs). We did have an ant problem (ants everywhere in the bathrooms and laundry room/water heater closet) and I contacted the host. He came out and sprayed and left ant traps. It resolved the problem and his quick response and solution was appreciated!

Yellowstone Adventure 2022
Our stay was memorable and exceeded all expectations! The cabin was neat, clean, and well stocked. It served as our base for exploring Yellowstone. The cabin’s common spaces offered my family the opportunity to gather around the fireplace or enjoy breakfast around a comfortable table. We had a great stay and look forward to visiting again!

Fantastic Cabin
The property manager Ty was so great to work with. Any questions I had he got right back to me. This cabin in stocked! Griddle, insta pot, lots of pots and pans etc. The cabin has hardwood floors everywhere which is so nice because it makes it feel so clean. Beds were comfy and the couch was huge. I think it’s even cuter in person. Happy campers for sure. Will stay again!

Relaxing stay
We had a wonderful and relaxing time! There was plenty of space to accommodate our group. We appreciated the extra amenities, such as toys for the children, family games, and a video gaming system. The manager was very responsive and when we had a small issue it was quickly addressed and fixed. Loved the service!
