I would recommend the left side for views of lake and mountains/foothills. Kitchen is well equipped and beds very comfortable. Internet was slow, but that wasn’t why we came. About 20-25 minutes from West Yellowstone. Gas grill was easy to use.

Excellent location

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. We were pleased with the location, as it was closed to island Park grocery store, and a simple drive to west Yellowstone.

Cozy clean and comfortable

The cabin was a little small but fit our small group perfectly. It was cozy, clean and comfortable. The location was great for activities we had planned in Yellowstone and Island Park. Getting in and out was hassle-free. We'd definitely stay there again!

Great family vacation

My daughter's and grandchildren and I truly enjoyed our stay at Island Park. The accommodations were great we had little need for assistance from the property manager but communication up until we got there was excellent. Check-in process is smooth and the house was wonderful.

This was a very nice home that was not too far from the YNP entrance. If you prefer to stay a bit farther from the hustle and bustle of West Yellowstone, I would definitely consider this place. It was clean and cozy, and we looked forward to coming back here every evening after a long day in the park. We had all that we needed, and the view was very pretty too! Very easy check in too.

Central location and exactly what we needed.

We tackled Yellowstone, fly fishing, and Grand Teton, all from our home base in Island Park. This property has everything you need and nothing you don't, and it exceeded all our expectations. Excellent communication and easy check-in. I would definitely stay here again.

Cabin was clean and comfortable, well-equipped with almost everything you'd need for a stay, including a can of bear spray. The location was excellent, a short drive to West Yellowstone, and YNP. One thing we didn't like is that there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area, which get in the cabin when you open and close the door at night, and there wasn't any mosquito repellers or insecticide in the property. Also, the only mirror was in the bathroom, and since we had 4 people staying in, an additional mirror in one of the bedrooms would have been very welcome.

Overall nice cabin but could use better detail.

Cabin was clean inside and nice. We did discover a water leak in the bathroom under the vanity sink cold water shut off. We were able to place a cup under it but had to change it out daily to insure more water damage would not occur to the vanity. The property manager was unpdated immediately. The outside lawn area was not cut and very long. All other properties had their lawns mowed. This didn't cause any frustration other than the kids could not use the area. Probably should have it better manicured as others who stay there may want to use it.

Our stay at this property was disappointing, and several issues significantly affected our comfort. The home does not have air conditioning, which I did not notice in the listing, my bad, but even so, the lack of airflow made parts of the stay uncomfortable. There were only three fans available, and one of them was broken. We also encountered a surprising number of spiders — easily twenty or more throughout the week — which made the home feel poorly maintained. The kitchen was very small, making cooking difficult, and the microwave was tiny and barely functional. While the property sits in a beautiful location, the listing photos make the home appear much more spacious than it actually is. Considering the condition, lack of amenities, and overall experience, the property felt significantly overpriced for what we received.
