The cabin was stunning and nicely appointed! Very family friendly with pool table, foosball, movies and hot tub. The location will be absolutely perfect once construction around it is complete. We did have an issue with the construction noise. Once this was reported to our VRBO host, Jake, it was immediately resolved! A huge shout out to Jake for taking great care of us! We loved our stay and will plan to return. Thank you again Jake.
The cabin was newer and nice. However, the overall cleanliness of the cabin was mediocre at best. The hot tub was broken our entire stay (at first they told us that it could be used just not as warm as usual, it was not warm and nothing worked on it.), the pool table was not stable at all and the foosball table was broken. The large gas fireplace remote would not work and we could only get it to run at an extremely small flame. We rented the cabin because of these above listed amenities and were extremely disappointed to say the least.
The host was kind in reaching out and keeping me up to date, also answered my questions. The cabin itself was beautifully built, with a great layout. We came to just sit in the silence and read for two days. So it obviously suited our needs. Some amenities need to be upkept better. The pool table is dangerously tilting, we chose to forgo usage of it, since it felt unsafe. The master bedroom sheets need recycled. They were pilling and discolored from usage. We decided to just sleep on top of the comforter and use our own blankets. The fridge filter is well over it's change time and the coffee pot needs descaled (the master bathroom also had a big spider problem, we killed about 17 before they started to disappear). Aside from maintenance, there were some cleaning opportunities as well such as vents needing cleaned and high dusting. I really enjoyed the windows that allowed natural sunlight to flood the main living space and the hot tub was an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our quick stay. I think the best part of the stay was the location, the snow, and the cabin build itself.
My wife and i flew here to visit multiple places. The check in process was very easy and the cabin was very clean. It seems to be a newer upcoming vacation spot as there was a few places under construction. If early morning noise bothers you during the week , this was very minimal and didnt seem to bother us at all . Everything was clean and matched the listing photos perfectly. The only negative was the gate key card. 5 stars all the way except this . You have to pull up , get out and walk into a shed that contains lock boxes. You will find your lock box. The code opens the box and you grab the key card . Walk back to your car and drive through the access gate. Then pull over to return the key card. Seems petty but after doing this several times , it became annoying. If rain , or snow it would be a huge pain. Rules are rules and you are not allowed to keep the card with you during your stay. Other than that , the place was great. I hope this review helps you and you enjoy this place as much as we did. AT&T has almost zero service so if you need it , be aware. We however enjoyed the disconnect from everyone.
