Mountain Escape is a 4 bedroom and a loft along with an RV hookup. This beautiful cabin is surrounded by gorgeous lodgepole pine trees in forested land nestled in the woods on a 1 acre of secluded land. Just a 35 min drive to Yellowstone National Park.
The luxurious log home is fully equipped with all high-end furnishings. Many opportunities await for this cabin of over 2700 sq feet. It will comfortably sleep 14 in beds. A huge porch area with a BBQ grill to enjoy the outdoors. Inside you will find many amenities to entertain your group, including a big screen TV & two separate living areas with one being upstairs and down. The downstairs connects with the dining and kitchen area so makes for a great conversion and game area.

Summertime is amazing in Island Park. The cabin is within10 mins of Buttermilk Campground and boat launch to enjoy beaches, boating, and swimming. ATV trails everywhere departing directly from the cabin. Henry's Fork is just minutes away from world-class Fly Fishing. Rock Climbing, Horseback Riding, hiking, and more are available.

There is also an RV connection with power and water if someone needs their own space when the kids want to stay up late and play cards. Enjoy a night by the fire outside and create memories that will last a lifetime by roasting marshmallows or hot dogs outside with the included roasting sticks.

House is very nice however is overdue for a deep clean Bathroom floors and countertops not cleaned Roof was leaking water over couch and in back patio also creating damage to ceiling in downstairs bedroom The main level was not vacuumed, food around table in carpets No laundry soap and short supply of kitchen and bathroom trash bags Outside garbage full had to leave trash in back patio

Family National Park Adventure
Wonderful stay for middle age siblings and their families (youngest child 21) at beautiful Island Park home! Everything we could possibly need and more at this restful, private, well cared for woodland retreat. Robyn made sure we were well taken care of and provided us with great area and activities information. Bedrooms and bathrooms were better than 4 star hotels I’ve stayed in. Our stay was so short that our schedule didn’t allow time to enjoy sitting around the fire pit and that is our only regret. We were very close to the advantageous West Yellowstone park entrance, which also gave us a better vantage point to Grand Teton park and Jackson Hole. Especially after the flood, this was the perfect location to be in. We would definitely come back!

Wonderful cabin!
We loved this beautiful cabin. There was plenty of space for all 7 of us with room to spare. The pictures and decorations are beautiful and with the pillows and throws it made it feel like home. The full two story windows made the home so light and open. We loved it! It was relaxing to sit out on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature surrounding us. It was very peaceful and quiet, plus there are two decks off the upper bedrooms! The location was perfect for us. Just a short ride to the buttermilk campground (where some of our family were staying) and the boat launch area of island park reservoir. We also made day trips into Yellowstone and hiked many of the beautiful trails nearby. We were surprised by the 19 stairs to get to the second floor. It worked OK for us but if you have mobility issues it may be a challenge.

Overall the stay was great. The cabin offers a good central location, 35 mins from West Yellowstone, 2hrs 15 mins from the Grand Tetons and 1hr 15 from big sky. Secluded, clean and our large group had plenty of sleeping space. There were a few little things as can be expected with any stay, but worked great for our vacation.

This cabin was the perfect summer retreat for our family. We stayed for a weekend and visited nearby West Yellowstone. Although a little tricky to get to, it's nestled nicely in a quiet wooded area.
