Preserve Loft, Kid's Slide/Play Area, Yellowstone
The Preserve loft is newly remodeled! Must climb stairs up to access the loft. Bring the kids with a fun bunk bed set up, kid's slide, and an upper play area that they will love. Enjoy a full kitchen with a gas fireplace and living room. Enjoy Smart TVs in each bedroom and in the living room space to stream your own shows and movies. This Loft features 2 full bathrooms with easy access. This unit also has Air conditioning so it stays cool in summer months.
This cabin worked well for our group of 7 adults. There was enough space for all of us and we felt comfortable here. There was some minor maintenance that needed to be done and the kitchen supplies were fairly minimal, but other than that it was good.
Great little cabin easily accessible right off the main highway. We were a little confused about the sleeping arrangements for 8 people. There are 2 queen beds and 4 twin beds in the bunk bed area. The heated tiles in the bathroom were nice. It was very clean. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
Great property with lots of potential. Unfortunately it does not appear to be well managed. When we checked in we found the place had not been cleaned. Fortunately, house cleaners arrived within minutes after I called.
There were several small maintenance issues such as many burnt out lightbulbs, broken lock on sliding door, no toilet paper holder, etc.
Comfortable & easily accessible stay at Yellowstone
Such a distinctive loft, that was surprisingly big - and delightful to boot. Place is ~20 miles/mins from Yellowstone west entrance, and hence easily accessible, Convenient grocery store, restaurant, gas station (and even ATV rentals) in walking distance. We loved every minute of it, the twin bedrooms, bathrooms, and roomy kitchen/living area and many windows bring light, air and a sense of expanse to the stay. Overall a modest set of needs provided, but comfortable. A couple of nits - (a) the bathroom mats need to be cleaned if not replaced; (b) the coffee kettle (still) does not work; (c) as another reviewer pointed out, the mouse trap is a concern though we didn't spot any mice during our 5-day stay. Jake was always responsive & a great host.
Overall this property was just fine.
Pros:
-Plenty of beds for our family of seven.
-Two bathrooms was very nice.
-The living room is spacious.
-Smell is fresh and new.
-The kids loved the triple bunk beds and slide.
-Only 25 minutes from West Yellowstone.
Cons:
-The âplay loftâ is really just a very small space without room to even sit upâno playing happening there!
-The barn door style bathroom door slammed our fingers multiple times because of the location of the handle as it slid closed.
-The kitchen could use some more itemsâat least a fresh sponge!
-The dishwasher pretty much does nothing to clean the dishes.
-There was a set mousetrap very close to the edge of one of the bedsâŠdisconcerting on all accounts.
-Some linens/towels were very worn and stained.
-Our name was not on the door as we were told it would be, so we were a bit confused about which property was ours. (Note: itâs above a garage.)
-Although this property has AC, itâs not central, so thereâs no AC in the two bedrooms.
We enjoyed our stay here. Check-in was tricky, but the management was very helpful when we couldnât figure out its location. The unit is above a garage in the lodging area. The kids loved the bunk beds! The living room is comfortable for a family of five to enjoy. It was nice to have two bathrooms.
