This hotel could use a lot TLC. Anyone could walk in the doors on outside of building were not locked. No smoking inside and smelt pot in hallway. After swimming in pool, wanted to take shower no cold water. I guess you get what you pay for.

Great Value in this dated hotel
I was looking for a cheap alternative to the downtown Ithaca hotels so I went with Cayuga Blu. Hotel was dated as expected. We caught it on a slow night so maybe 8 to 10 cars total in the lot. Front desk was friendly. Room was clean. TV worked. Complimentary coffee was good 😎. (We skipped the free breakfast but it looked decent). Walking distance to YMCA, strip mall stores and a few restaurants. My only complaint is that the exterior doors around the hotel are unlocked 24/7... you did not need a room key to walk in any of the doors at any time. Not a good feeling. Other than that it's a great value hotel location and I would stay again.
