About this property

1BR Lodge, Snow Adventures Await in Jackman

Dubbed "Little Switzerland," Jackman, Maine is your gateway to rugged beauty and outdoor adventure year-round. In spring and summer, this scenic town comes alive with endless possibilities—from thrilling ATV rides and peaceful kayaking on Wyman Lake to unforgettable hikes with sweeping mountain views. The Old Canada Road National Scenic Byway (US Route 201) winds past the Kennebec River, the Dead River, and through vast, unspoiled forests, offering a picture-perfect route for exploration.

Our cozy retreat provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, featuring a queen bed, full kitchen, private bath, and a welcoming living and dining room combo that feels just like home. Need more sleeping space? The sofa sleeper in the living room has you covered. Flexible living arrangements are easy with accordion and French doors that allow you to create separate spaces or access the bedroom from the kitchen. Plus, the bathroom is accessible from both the bedroom and living area for added convenience.

Jackman is a top destination for ATV enthusiasts, with trail systems that connect you to the heart of the wilderness. Be sure to check the local Chamber of Commerce for trail updates and recommended routes. Outdoor lovers will also find fishing, hiking, and wildlife watching throughout the area. And when fall and winter return, so do the snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and hunting opportunities.

Just a short drive from the Canadian border, Jackman also makes a great base for day trips and cross-border adventures. After a day of exploring, relax and recharge at the Lodge’s heated indoor pool, unwind in the hot tub, or enjoy the quiet comfort of the cedar sauna.

Possibly a bit overstated

Upon check-in nobody had a clue what was happening. Left me feeling like the whole reservation process was mishandled. After calling a few people off-site (and with different area codes) it got straightened out. I was given zero information about the property, pretty much just handed a key with a number on it and left to my own devices. I did appreciate being let in on the latest gossip from former employees, I assume, and one under investigation. I wish I could have hung out and got the rest of that story… Supposedly there is an indoor pool and hot tub. There was even a print-out with hours available on the front desk. I was not instructed on how to access it. I found it, but it was locked up tight. Management was fairly non-existent during the day. Count on zero support after 4:00pm. A friend checked in to a room down the hall from me a couple of days after I arrived. His room wasn’t even cleaned and ready for him. The pizza box with one dried up slice of pizza in it sitting on the table was a nice touch. So were the dirty towels and used washcloths in the shower. It could have been great, but it wasn’t.

Nice stay

Rooms could be updated. Really should take out the air conditioner in the room as you could feel the cold air coming in.

Fishing & Foliage

Stayed here over thirty years ago when it was called Briarwood and offered food and beverage service. Anyway, it was nice return and enjoyed my stay. Nice room so I would definitely return again.
