Foremost, Grand Targhee and Driggs, Idaho provided a wonderful landscape for our 4-day ski adventure. Meanwhile, this property (Powder Valley #14) was a cozy, well-appointed retreat.
Although PV14 could accommodate a party of eight reasonably well, the interior didn't feel too large for our family of four; we enjoyed the intrigue and privacy afforded by its three-story plan. (A larger party would find it even more beneficial.)
Having a garage is a big bonus during winter weather. Don't underestimate the advantage of being able to load/unload/store gear in a sheltered, dry, secure space. And, who likes scraping frost (or brooming snow) before being able to drive away?
As already mentiond, this house comes equipped with all the items one would expect for a turn-key get-away. Plus, the property manager (Karin Wertheim) is very responsive to any questions or concerns; she quickly and enthusiastically handled a minor functionality issue, and also helped facilitate a unique request.
In summary, based on all the criteria that matter to me (size of property, location, quality, price, privacy, amenities), I highly recommend Powder Valley #14. In addition, Grand Targhee and the town of Driggs are simultaneously low-key and high value. This combination of lodging, activity, and restaurants is a triple play!
