Grand Targhee is fantastic! It is a wonderful ski hill with a wide variety of runs set in stunning scenery and an incredibly modern yet comfortable vibe. The lodging is comfortable, homey, and convenient to the hill. We visited with our 3-month old and had a tremendous time. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating for families, and the easy access to the hill made it very easy for both my husband and I to take turns skiing while taking care of our baby. The outdoor hot tub and heated pool are a perfect way to wind up a day on the hill. Highly recommend to anyone with or without kids!

The property was great. We were looking for a place to stay close to Grand Tetons NP. This resort is almost a 2 hour drive to Jackson, WY. The manager at the resort told me that they usually have at least one person every day check out and go looking for another place to stay. There was no refund available for our cancellation because they require cancellation a week in advance. On a map, Alta looks like it is very close to the park, until you look closer and realize that there is no road that goes directly to the park. To some extent, I think it is dishonest to advertise this as lodging "near" Grand Tetons NP. Considering that people are surprised by how far away this lodge is from the park frequently, I think they should not be able to advertise that they are close to the Grand Tetons without a clear and easy to spot statement about how far it is from the actual park by road.

We had paid for a studio but because it was on the 3rd floor we asked for a floor on the bottom. We were given a queen room which was the same price. I don’t think we should have been charged the same price as the studio.

Beautiful room. Lots to do- did the ski lift and got a beautiful view of the area. Staff in the area where you could get breakfast items was very limited so the wait was long and items expensive . Dinner at the on site restaurant was very good and service excellent.

Its a one hour drive to Jackson WY but a beautiful drive. The resort is in a great location. Restaurants at the resort had good food. The rooms at the resort were mediocre and need attention.

For the price {expensive because at the ski hill) one would think the parking for guest would be for more than one vehicle when paying $600 per night for a 10 person suite

After a day on the snow, enjoy a relaxing soak in the spa tub and an invigorating swim in the outdoor swimming pool. For a free ride to the slopes, hop on the mountain hotel's complimentary ski shuttle. Sioux Lodge Suites by Grand Targhee Resort helps provide the perfect winter holiday with ski storage, skiing lessons, and ski equipment rentals.
