Should do better.

Room was too hot. AC was too noisy to have on. Windows did not open. Housekeeping did not complete the service. Toilets not cleaned. Coffee supplies not replaced.

The hotel is like a step back in time but with all modern amenities including an elevator. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, rooms were comfortable, AC worked very well, and restaurant food was very good. Would definitely stay here again!

Always a great place to stay.

People are fantastic that work there! Clean and welcoming. We didn't eat at the restaurant this trip but we're have before. Food is very good. Bartenders make great drinks and they are attentive and friendly. Bed and pillows too soft for us and TV was located high on the wall to the side of the bed. Very awkward.

The manager was awesome! We left something very important in our room and only discovered AFTER we got home that it was missing! We drove back(hour drive) and she was able to help us get it back, even though the room was rented for the night. She went above and beyond to help us!

We liked our stay there, with only a couple of recommendations for the owners. Put some sort of dresser in the room. We were living out of our suitcase, and the room had the space for a small one. In the bathroom, please put some kind of shelf for ladies to put their makeup on. Again, there is room for it. Our trash can was in the shower, collecting water from the drippy shower.

Great stay at Hotel Sutter!

Hotel Sutter has a great central location in the little town. Just keep your car parked and walk. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating, especially Jessica.

We enjoyed staying in this quaint historic hotel very much! Only complaint was the loud music blasting from the kitchen below us until 9:00 pm.

Seeing the Cities in Gold Country

Stayed at Hotel Sutter during our driving trip through the Gold Country. Since we went during the off season, Sutter Creek was not crowded and was very nice. The hotel staff were friendly and provided suggestions on where to eat, etc. The only complaint was the bed was a little uncomfortable which affected our sleep. Even with that issue, I would stay there again.
