Walk to Britt, or Downtown Jacksonville. We are right off the Main Steet coming into town. Charge your EV. 1 for Free. 1 Bedroom, with separate living room. Perfect for a Couple. Furnished living area, new couch with pull-out queen size bed. Can sleep 4 comfortably. All Linens provided. Great Air conditioning/Heat in both bedroom and living room. Flat Screen T.V. with Cable and wi-fi internet provided. Bathroom has a walk-in shower w/ handicap rail. Coffee Provided, Full Kitchen complete with microwave, electric stove, fridge, island sink, quartz counter tops, silverware, cooking and baking needs. We are well stocked with extra cleaning supplies, paper towels, bar soap, shampoo & conditioner, hairdryer, plus many extras. You can do your Laundry(Full size washer/dryer) soap is provided.
Walk in closet with hangers and iron. Outdoor enclosed deck area has privacy divider fence, table with chairs. (Allow Outdoor Smoking only). Cottage is attached to main residence. Completely private, parking for up to two vehicles. Convenient walking distance to town, shopping, dining, hiking, Pioneer Retirement center is only one block away (visit family). Rays Food place, gas station, car wash, and New market with large liquor and wine selection is right across the street. Popular BBQ restaurant a few doors away!
Almost daily opportunities to enjoy viewing wildlife, like our local deer and turkeys.
We have a resident Orange Cat named Leo. He has lived on our porch for 12 years.

This was our second stay at Charleen's Cottage and once again it was wonderful! Great location, comfortable home and everything we could possibly need- coffee, tea, waters, creamer, shampoo and soaps, extra bedding and plenty of dishes and cookware. On top of this, it is in walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Charleen's Cottage is the perfect retreat! Our host, Linda, was very welcoming, answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is cozy, clean and comfortable. Downtown Jacksonville is steps away- shops, grocery store and many restaurants are all in walking distance. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be visiting again.

I can't think of anything I would change about our stay here. The hosts are wonderful, so friendly. I think when I get moved to Jacksville, Linda and I will stay friends forever. The cottage is so nice, very comfortable, it's SO much better than being at the Inn or any other motel/hotel. Great price too! You can't go wrong here.

Cute little cottage with host next door. Convenient parking, was nice to have washer/dryer and there was plenty of coffee and some snacks. Loved the orange kitty that slept on the porch chair. Location is close enough to walk to downtown Jacksonville, cute coffee shop a couple doors down and gas station is located down the street. Met the host on a couple occasions and she was really sweet and accommodating.

Wonderful hosts! Excellent location close to a great BBQ joint (The Back Porch Bar and Grill) and the Pony Expresso Coffee shop for breakfast. Historic Jacksonville Old Town is just a short walk with fun shops great restaurants and friendly Saloons!

Such a fantastic place! It was a lovely stay, and a wonderful spot. Charleen’s Cottage was perfect for the pre-Christmas getaway I had planned with my mom. The location was perfect! (Jacksonville was great!) We were able to walk everywhere-shops, restaurants, coffee, shops, grocery store, gas station-all extremely close by. The cottage itself was just perfect. It had everything we needed. Clean, cozy, and beautifully built. Our host was kind and helpful and made sure to check in with us to make sure that we had everything we needed. If we ever head back to Jacksonville, I won’t hesitate to stay at Charleen’s cottage again! (And as an aside, the trail cam photo album was impressive!)

Beautiful place. Small it worked for what we neededd butt having the square footage listed would be more helpful to a bigger party than 2. Its also a mother in law apartment which I did not see in the listing. It wasn't an issue however as the host was vary accommodating and they very much left us to ourselves. There was some plumbing issues but them being next door was convenient and they took care of the issue right away. Thank you for the stay it was lovely and we were loud and enjoyed ourselves. Linda and her husband were very welcoming. I would stay again
