This Green Mountain getaway offers the perfect home base just minutes from Stratton Mountain Resort, the West River, scenic covered bridges, and hiking trails galore. Between outings, you can enjoy cozy home comfort in front of the wood-burning stove or unwind with a soak in the jetted tub. A private deck welcomes you to warm-weather outdoor gatherings.

The Stratton Mountain Resort and the Stratton Mountain Golf Course are within seven miles of the condo. Multiple hiking trails around Winhall Forest and the West River Trail are accessible within a three-mile radius. Bromley Mountain is 12 miles away. Groceries and gear rentals can be found in nearby Jamaica.

The condo is equipped for complete home comfort and convenience, with highlights including a full kitchen, a private washer/dryer, and free WiFi. Smart TVs in the living room and upstairs bedroom let you stay up to date on all your favorite shows. A dedicated desk is also furnished for remote working.

Here are the cons: 1. The place had not been cleaned when we got there - dirty sheets on bed and dirty towels in bathrooms. Thankfully, there were enough clean sheets and towels in the closet, but we had to strip and make the beds, wipe down the kitchen, clean the bathrooms (toilets and sink), take out the garbage, etc. Someone did come by after we called, but by then, we were already there and I couldn't have a cleaning crew there. They did refund the cleaning fee. 2 The place has not been updated in many years and can definitely use a refresh. There was not enough hot water to fill the bathtub. Here are the pros: 1. Location is great - less than 15 minutes to Stratton and close to a few restaurants/market. 2. Good layout for 1 family, but cannot have more than 1 family stay here (perhaps something to consider if/when doing a refresh - get some bunk beds, a nice pull-out couch, etc). 3. Nice working fireplace and the heat worked well.
