Everything was broken. Flood in our bathroom due to leak above us. Only one door on closet that was supposed to have two. Didn't tell us that only had maid service once every 3 days. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Must be “remodeling” however the boxes and garbage cans were in hallways, and were even blocking the stairwell on one side. I think we were in a “remodeled” but the newer side tables were chipped up and broken on the corners. The room was clean but not clean to where I felt like I could go barefoot in the room. Should upgrade the mattresses if your remodeling as they were not the best. The free breakfast was OK but we waited for more of all the hot food for 20 minutes then just had toast. I would not stay here again. Staff was friendly but hard to understand as had very broken English the 2 that I spoke to but were very nice.

THE HOT WATER AND COLD WATER IN THE BATHROOM SINK WAS BACKWARDS. There was no hot water in the shower. The end table has blck stick tarry dots on the service. There was floss pick and dirt under the chair in the corner. One of the queen beds has a spring poking up. the mirror was not cleaned in bathroom. The whole bottom floor and our room smelled terrible. It stunk like Korean food had be cooked. There was no food at the continental breakfast. All pans were empty and it was only 8:30 am. Breakfast hours were suppose to be 6-10 am on Saturday. the free Wi-Fi was not working. Came up with message "no internet connection". Never let me put in password that was provided . Was charged $ 20 pet fee and I THINK THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED , considering the poor condition of room. F

Disappointing stay in Jamestown ND

This hotel appears to be in disrepair and may be undergoing renovation, although when we checked in, we questioned this. We were told they were only painting the exterior of the building. In our first room the air conditioner did not work. We were given the room next door. The air conditioning was in working order in the second room. This room seemed to be in the process of being updated. However there was no door on the closet. The ceiling smoke alarm was removed, exposed wires were visible. A new one had been installed on a wall. It looked like the flooring had been replaced, but the bathroom did not have baseboards. Also, the bathroom door had a bent hinge and did not shut. There were holes in the bathroom wall where a new towel rack was installed and the fan did not fit the hole in the wall. This fan did not exhaust the moisture. The wall mounted hair dryer was not reinstalled. It was just thrown into a makeshift cabinet. The bathroom ceiling appeared to have some mold. The exterior door in the back of the hotel did not lock.

If I’m being honest, it was a little sketchy. You get what you pay for I guess? It was one of the cheapest hotels in Jamestown. They were painting the outside and trying to make some improvements. The beds weren’t horrible.

Room 111 smelled like cat urine. It was obvious that a cat had sprayed in the room. The front desk admitted that room 111 has been used as a pet.

Rooms needed quite a bit of maintenance. Door would not close properly. When asked front desk about getting it looked at they didn’t. No plug for the bathtub. When asked was told they didn’t have any extras. Chair in the room was heavily stained. Hallways had garbage and maintenance equipment left out. Back door was held open with a rock for most of our stay

Bad start to our stay

It was a bad start when we were given a key to our room and when we entered it was already occupied. We woke up the occupants and it was very embarrassing and could have been dangerous. We were given another room without air conditioning.

This property was relatively clean, but was a dump. Poor upkeep, poor service, no pride in what they offered. No effort to make it better. It's been this way for several years. Didn't care if we were unhappy with the surroundings when asked how our stay was. Breakfast was sub par, cold & incomplete, went to MacDonald's next door instead. I've stayed here 3 times over the past few years, each time it gets worse. I will not be back. It is not a $120 /night hotel. Maybe $80 is even too high, at least you would know not to expect much. Knock it down, build something new. The property value deserves at least that much. Comfort Inn franchises are out of touch with price and what they are offering. If the property is 1 to 2 stars, the price should reflect that. Quit leading people on. I'll take my chances elsewhere next year.
