TrĂšs bien

TrÚs belle propriété. superbe endroit. vu extraordinaire. TrÚs grande et épuré. Cuisine trÚs bien équipée. La communication avec l hÎte est trÚs bonne. Vous avez tout pour passer de super vacances. Nous avions louer une voiture, je vous suggÚre dans louer une pour explorer l ßle, le stationnement de l immeuble est trÚs sécurisé. Le ménage a été fait une fois semaine, femme trÚs gentille et trÚs bonne. Plage, restaurants, épicerie a quelques minutes. J aurais mise un 5 étoiles mais a cause des chiens du voisin je met un 4.5 étoiles.

Het uitzicht is meer dan top. De locatie is minder omdat op vrijdag en zaterdag laat in de avond en in de nacht met auto's en mortoren straat races gehouden worden. Slapen is daardoor onmogelijk. Het pand is gedateerd wat heel erg jammer is. Het pand heeft zoveel te bieden maar de eigenaar moet spoedig onderhoud gaan verrichten.

Pros and cons

PROS This home is as pictured. The view from the porch is beautiful. There is a constant breeze (wind!) that keeps the living area very cool. You would never know if it is a hot day. The linens and towels are all very nice. Decorated fairly well - though it is funny to see lovely picture frames with the same stock pictures in them as when they were purchased. CONS The house needs a really thorough cleaning and then everything needs to be painted The bedroom upstairs has no window and could use some decorating to make it feel less dreary. The stairs as you go up are fine but when you come down - they are a little scary. You need to be very careful. The master bedroom is in the back and does not get the beautiful breeze and it backs up to a busy road - so the air conditioning at night is a must. All the bed pillows are pretty disgusting. I would bring my own pillow covers (antibacterial) The cushions covers on the porch furniture need to be replaced or cleaned very well. I actually took off the pillow covers and washed them before we used them. The kitchen is stocked well with pretty plates, etc but not well stocked for cooking. The non stick frying pans are all scratched and should be replaced. We bought a sheet pan - and left it for others to use. Not sure if we were doing anything wrong but the stove top took FOREVER to boil water for pasta and I had heated the water first! The description says there is a dryer - but it is a drying rack - which was missing pieces (I did find them in another closet eventually) The dogs mentioned in earlier reviews are still there and still as loud at all times of day and night. For awhile they had roosters too. On a whole - would not return or recommend it.

Great place with great views .

Great and safe place to stay in curaçao . Pictures are accurate . 5 minutes away from Jan Thiel Beach , 10/15 minutes away from Mambo beach . 20 mins away to williamsted Excellent communication with managers from beginning to end . Just wonderful and very relaxing.

Great apartment and nice location overlooking Spanish Bay

The apartment in the Masbango resort was the perfect place to stay for a week in Curacao. The four of us enjoyed the large kitchen and living room. The bedrooms have AC which is a welcome feature when it gets a bit too warm at night. After coming back from outings to the beaches or downtown we relaxed on the spacious terrace overlooking the Spanish Bay. When we arrived, Mitchell came promptly to let us in and show us around the apartment. He also gave us lots of info on the island - where the best beaches and restaurants are. He was very friendly and ready to help. When we locked ourselves out of the apartment, he came quickly to help us out. All in all a very pleasant experience. We highly recommend the place and would happily return next time we visit Curacao.

Prachtige locatie op de wind direct aan het Spaanse Water

Ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien appartement. Altijd wind dus geen mosquitos. Grote schuifdeuren naar met ruime porch. Alle luxe met 3 badkamers airco, vaatwasser, grote fridge etc. Eerste paar dagen gedoe met verstopte afvoer en beerput gehad. Even vervelend in het weekend. Daarna vlot opgelost door beheerder Mitchell. Aanbeveling dus!

Just Perfect

This apt was perfect for us! The view from the balcony over the marina was fantastic, and with the sunrise...it was magical. The whole wall of glass slides back to open into the great room. Made eating meals, and nights with cocktails and beer a reason to get back home. Kitchen was somewhat supplied, i.e. utensils, coffee maker...but no coffee filters, paper towels, maybe salt/pepper, etc. So look for what you need before heading to grocery. Found the apt to be very clean, well maintained. The furnishings inside were very comfortable, yet, again the balcony steals the show with its outdoor furniture sets: big table to share meals, and couches and chairs to cozily lounge, we will happily book this apt again.

Great outdoor space with beautiful view of Spanish Waters!

We spent a week at the Villa and enjoyed our stay. The home has plenty of space and convenient location to several stores and restaurants. There is a smaller grocery store a few minutes away and prices were reasonable. Mitchell and Carmela are wonderful host and tended to any issue or questions we had during our stay. We were only a party of two but the home has plenty of room for a larger family and the bed in the master was very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the deck when we were at the villa and enjoyed watching the boats come and go. We highly recommend Bouny Adventures Charter, it was the highlight of our trip. Klein Island is beautiful and we saw four turtles. The only reason we didn't give a 5 star was due to the neighbors barking dogs. Carmela was very apologetic and they have talked to the neighbors as well. We understand it is something they can't control. It wasn't constant but at times it was a nuisance. Other than that noise we felt we had the place to ourselves. Overall we had a good experience and enjoyed the villa. Thank you Mitchell & Carmela

Masbango Review

The house was what we were expecting. The view is beautiful and the house looks just like the pictures. The house is far away from downtown, but with a rental car it was not an unreasonable drive. We enjoyed seeing more of the island. The house was clean, and adequately maintained. I could tell it was a house where people come and go, but overall it was clean. Whenever I e-mailed with a question, I received an answer within a reasonable amount of time. The person who met us at the house was helpful and responsive when we had questions. The Ostrich Farm is near the house. There are also a few fun shops and restaurants along the road of the house. Mambo Beach is also near-by.

Nice place and location but bad neighbors

The place was nice. Nice, covered deck overlooking the water with a great breeze - so no bugs - and eating and sitting area. 3 air-conditioned bedrooms; 3 bathrooms. Dishwasher. Washer and dryer. Lots of towels. Pool. Great manager. The "only" bad part was the house next door. They had many adult dogs and many puppies - a puppy mill?? The owners had the dogs put in a bird cage (honestly!) or tied up, so the dogs barked and yapped a LOT. So ... we didn't get the restful holiday we were looking for.
