The hotel was very clean and comfortable it was very impressive and a bit expensive for anything like water or snacks. It was in an area that did not have a lot of things to do. It was very nice for a quick getaway.

Excellent classic hotel

Beautifully restored hotel with elegant, spacious rooms. Best waterfall shower I’ve ever experienced. Great rooftop bar and the attached Velvet Buffalo restaurant makes this truly a one-stop destination.

When we first entered the hostess was on her phone, we didn't know if it was work related so my husband and I stood in front of the reception desk talking so she would know we were there. We stood there for probably 3-4 minutes until she finally looked up and after realizing we were there said "I'm so sorry" and put her phone away. There were large cobwebs in the corners of our hotel room. The "continental breakfast" was prepackaged muffins and doughnuts with a couple of sad looking bananas and apples and some coffee. The shower was cool and the bed was comfortable.

Beautiful architecture. It was very quiet and we loved the record player in the room. The food was good in the restaurant. We enjoyed the roof top bar. The location was perfect to go to the farmers market in he morning.

This is a beautiful property and the pictures are accurate. I loved the shower and the toiletries. My only complaint was that the toilet paper was not as plush as everything else in the room and that the lounge was closed at 9:00 p.m. on a Thursday night so there weren't any in-house options at that time.
