Located in the heart of the Ozarks, this 6 person cabin comes fully furnished and is centrally located to many trails, river access points, and is only a 5 minute drive to downtown Jasper, AR. The cabin is located on Hwy 74 West in-between Jasper and Ponca. It is in the perfect location for easy access to hiking, kayaking, and exploring all that the Ozarks has to offer. We stayed 3 nights, family of 5 with kids aged 7-12. The place was very clean, spacious & fit everything we were looking for. We enjoyed the fire pit & hot tub, but the hot tub is comfortable for probably 3-4 adults. The 5 of us squeezed in but we were tight. The deck has a nice view (probably even more amazing when the trees aren't so thick) where we relaxed with our coffee & a cold beverage at night. We didn't really cook so can't speak much to those amenities. It was super nice to have a washer & dryer. The A/C kept up very well & there's a separate unit for the upstairs loft, which was great. Outside of the cabin, advice for other travelers... the turn off for the cabin onto the gravel is very easy to miss, especially coming in the dark. Phone service is spotty on the highway & we should've looked at directions & the VRBO host instructions closer before we arrived (the wifi at the house was great once there). Also, Jasper closed down very early. One night we got back about 8pm from our day adventures & everything was closed. We ended up at the grocery store for supper. The next night we made it back earlier to shop & eat. The pizzeria ran out of crust so the Café was the only place open & was packed. We really enjoyed our trip but didn't expect food to be so far & few between. Would recommend this cabin to others looking for a break from the city!

This cabin was perfect for my husband and I. We needed a weekend away and this place was just the ticket. The kitchen was well equipped. It was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a bonus for sure. I love all the little extras for pups if you brought them. Very private which is what I was looking for! Thank you for a great stay!

This is a beautiful and peaceful property! The view is gorgeous and the hot tub under the stars was so relaxing. The only issue we had was with the turn into the property. We were pulling a trailer with our bike on it and the turn was tight. Location of this property is great..close to Jasper but with the feel of country. If you haven’t stayed here, you should book a trip now!

This is a perfect gem in a great location. Well stocked with needed items and plenty of bedding. Very cozy and well put together. The sunrise view from the back porch is stunning! The hot tub was wonderful as well. Very little light pollution in the area so you can see the stars really well. Highly recommend!

My husband and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary and had such an amazing stay at the Mt. Sherman cabin. The Mountain views from the back porch were breathtaking and so calming, the pictures don’t do it justice. The cabin was cozy and equipped with anything you would need. Relaxing in the hot tub at night after each adventurous day, was one of our favorite aspects of the cabin. The cabin is secluded, yet the town of Jasper was only a few minute drive away, if we needed anything. Leanna was always quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend booking this cabin.

This is a remote, cozy, authentic cabin about 10min from Jasper AR. Our family kept a cabin in a remote area in CO and this place felt like home! The kitchen was fully stocked (including spices, coffee, and dry goods). We showed up with our clothes, gear, and food for the refrigerator, and everything else we needed was there! We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck overlooking the valley with luscious trees filled with songs of birds and the hot tub was an amazing place to hang out. We used the charcoal grill for a steak dinner that we ate at the table on the deck. There were games to play, quiet spots inside and out to rest and read books. We didn’t turn on the tv or game systems but those were also available. The beds and bedding were all comfy and everyone slept well. I work remote and enjoyed the small work space and good wifi for those quick emails and research for local attractions. We made it easily down to the Buffalo River to swim and explore the town of Jasper. Also, the host was quick and gracious to reply to a couple of my questions! Hope to return in the future!!

My wife and I loved the cabin and the area. The cabin was less than ten minutes from Jasper where we were able to go get dinner each night. The cabin was clean. We were able to comfortably enjoy the hot tub as well. Everything as described.

The property was clean, the views were spectacular, the location was close proximity to anything you would need when staying here (downtown Jasper & outdoors activities! Peaceful and relaxing location

We were in town for the Buffalo River Elk festival. We were wanting to find something close to Jasper, Arkansas, but not right in town. Where all the people would be. This location is just 3 miles out of town up on the mountain and it is outstanding. The stars were so beautiful at night, the view is amazing, The breeze was perfect and the hot tub made for the most relaxing time ever. The host goes through every detail to make sure that your stay is perfect. Loved the extras like spices in the cabinet, a crockpot, she even left eggs if we wanted to use them. We had issues with a wasp nest and about 9 o’clock at night and she told me if I couldn’t get it down. She would come take care of it herself. The layout is amazing. The upstairs loft is huge with two full-size beds along with a Wii and several movies. We were traveling with my husband and I along with four young adults in their early 20s and we never felt crowded having six people in there. Can’t wait to come back

Great secluded cabin in the woods!

We had a great time staying in the cabin, we were hiking and canoeing in the Buffalo River area. Great place, wonderful patio looking down the valley. Cabin was great and was well stocked. Will stay here again for our next trip!
