What we love most about La Golondrina is its enchanting, almost hidden-world atmosphere, full of bohemian charm and the spirit of barefoot travel. Rich jewel-toned walls, vibrant artwork and fascinating objects collected from around the world give the villa a unique personality. Shelves lined with books celebrate an eclectic mix of authors and poets, while the inviting lounge area, with its deep comfortable sofas, is the perfect place to read, unwind or gather with friends and family.
Thoughtfully arranged across a single floor, the villaâs interiors are spacious, cosy and full of character. The family bathroom is beautifully styled with intricate arabesque mosaics inspired by Granadaâs Alhambra, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing candlelit bath. Elegant decorative touches, shimmering glass ornaments and an Indian wooden mirror complete the space.
The master suite combines a characterful double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. A carved wooden headboard, rich colours and direct access to the poolside terrace create a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, while the en-suite features a spacious walk-in shower, iridescent mosaics and a striking fossil-inlaid stone basin.
Sleeping up to six guests, La Golondrina is ideal for families, couples or friends looking for a peaceful Mediterranean escape. With its private pool, shaded terraces, winding pathways and dreamy garden views, the villa feels like a world away while still being close to everything JĂĄvea has to offer.
JH Tip: La Golondrina is located directly opposite Villa Levante and just 100 metres from Casa Alba, making it an excellent option for larger families or groups wishing to stay close together while enjoying their own private spaces.
**Important Information**
1) Age Policy: Groups under 25 are not allowed (except families or young guests accompanied by adults staying in the property). Non-compliant bookings may be refused check-in without refund.
2) Winter Long Stays (1 Nov â 31 Mar): Stays of 31+ nights receive a special discount but utilities (electricity, water, gas) and weekly linen changes are not included. A âŹ500 utilities prepayment is required; extra usage will be charged and unused amounts refunded.
3) Stays over 10 days: Spanish law requires signing a Non-Habitual / Temporary Housing Rental Contract
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, well-equipped house with a private, good sized pool, and dog friendly. We hadn't visited Javea before but would gladly book the house again.
