Family Lake Trip
Nice large home.Tricky to drive down to if in large vehicle. Entry level has four bedrooms. Upstairs apartment area had 3 bedrooms. One large bedroom is on the lower level where the kitchen, pool, and racquet ball court are. All rooms had a tv in them except for the bunk bedroom. Lower level is where the outdoor deck is. We all enjoyed racquet ball and shuffle board. The deck had beautiful views and plenty of seating. Family enjoyed spending time out on the dock as well. It was large enough for several of us to lay out while kids swam. There’s a marina within steps of the property for boat rentals, not jet skis. It was a holiday weekend so when the weather was nice it was quite busy, which is to be expected. Having the marina next to the property did create more traffic with boats coming and going. Indoor pool is not heated and was much too cold for anyone to enjoy. Hot tub was very warm but water was murky so no one was comfortable going any further than just putting their legs in it. Media room had a large tv but the WiFi had issues streaming so we didn’t use much. There were a few issues with plumbing and electrical and they were very quick to respond with help. Very nice people and would definitely go through them again for future trips to Grand Lake but likely not this home. Our family enjoyed the view while sitting outside and inside windows offered beautiful views as well. Over all it was a nice large home with plenty of room and amenities along with gorgeous views.
