Best hotel experience I have ever had
Pros:Everything, especially the friendly, helpful staff.
Cons:Nothing. It was just right.
Location:It had a spectacular view of the city from the big windows. It was an easy walk to Jaffa Gate, Machaneh Yehuda market, and Ben Yehuda mall.
Before I even arrived, Eyal Shargay, Operation Manager, emailed me and offered any assistance. He gave me info regarding shuttles to Jerusalem. The staff was friendly and like family. Since there are only 14 suites on the 21st floor, the staff could give much personal attention to the guests. Eyal or another staff person was there whenever I had any questions. The room suite was spacious and modern & the kitchen was fully equipped. I had the choice of several nearby restaurants each morning for a free breakfast. There was a spectacular view of the city from the big windows. It was an easy walk to Jaffa Gate into the Old City and to Machaneh Yehuda market. It was next to Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall. I felt very comfortable and safe at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If I have the opportunity to visit Jerusalem again, I plan to stay here again!

Great Location. Nice Manager. Poor quality hotel

Location:Nice view of the Old City. Within walking distance of the Old City. Ben Yahuda great location to walk around.
This hotel was disappointment upon disappointment. The only positive comments I can make are that the manager was kind although ineffective and the location of the hotel was convenient.
I booked through Travelocity and paid for the highest option 'Presidential Suite'. I also requested through Travelocity the welcome basket. What was shown on the website wasn't close to what we got.
When we arrived, no welcome basket and the room wasn't the Presidential Suite. For what we paid, this isn't what we got. We checked with the booking agent for the hotel and he knew nothing of our reservation. If he knew nothing, then how did the hotel have a room ready for us?
On Travelocity it appeared breakfast was included in the hotel. However breakfast was at an outside restaurant not on the hotel property about a block away. Also this was a set breakfast. If you wanted anything different you have to pay more. While this wasn't a big concern, it would've been nice to know in advance.
The room wasn't clean. We had to borrow a vacuum to at least clean the floors. The extra pull out bed did not have sheets. There was water damage and holes in the wall that were not repaired. There were missing ceiling tiles where it appeared somebody tried to fix pipes.
Like I mentioned, the manager was nice. However he wasn't much help. For our complaints he only offered a free breakfast.

The suite you reserved was a presidential Suite ( 915 square feet ) . Suite 2105 is a presidential suite, it faces the old city and it is an amazing suite that many of our guests specifically ask for it. If I remember right, this was your suite.
About the Basket: since the manager position was changed and I was not informed about some changed that were done , you didn’t receive what you ordered .
I offered you a compensation and I also decided to turn a blind eye from the next issue :
You reserved a suite for five persons and we were prepared for 5. After checking-in you asked for an additional bed to person N' 6 , we delivered. Most important is that we didn’t charge you for it. In addition to that , We also payed for the sixth person breakfast for 4 days that this person stayed in the hotel.
We replaced our housekeeping staff and hired in addition to them a new inspection lady with years of experience. I apologize for the inconvenience, today the rooms are sparkles.
We have a maintenance personal and after he and I checked, no missing ceiling tiles were found. In all the bath rooms there is a hot tub and everything is brand new.
Breakfast is just 2 minutes' walk from the hotel.When we sent you an Email on 18.7.15 confirming your reservation, we should have informed you about that.
I hope to have you back to our beautiful Hotel, I promise I will be just as nice as I was the last time.
