The listing showed that free pick-up from the train station was offered, as it's very far away. The hotel didn't respond to my message with train arrival details and pick-up request -- probably because it was written in English -- but I was able to get a ride with one of the many other vehicles picking up their customers. After some app translations in complaining with reception, they agreed to provide free delivery to the train station after my visit was over, to make up for the mix-up in arriving.

Good location
We’ve got a family room and it’s a Peppa Pig themed! Hotel is walking distance to the Shazhou Night Market and the Dunhuang Mosque. No English-speaking staff but no hassle with a translation app.

Quiet and good value for money
Nice, comfortable hotel, not too far from the main market area and just opposite the bust stop that leads you south, to the Dunes (one of the must sees in town). The area is pretty sleepy, but that may have something to do with our low season visit. Only one staff member spoke English, so get ready for a lot of pointing and gesticulation. If the one lady is around, ask her everything you ll need!

The hotel was within a 10 minute walk of the night market and bigger shopping areas and restaurants. It's got a good staff and we were able to communicate decently using translators on our phones. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was quiet in the rooms. Would definitely stay again.
