WOW! What a gem! From check-in to checkout, every staff person was friendly, helpful. Not one single complaint; do not remember when that last happened at another hotel. The decor is fabulous! It was like the a private club but without the snobbishness. Sam in the bar made our day. What a great human being. It was so great, we felt like kids in a candy shop.

Exceptional Staffing

The staff were outstanding. Always helpful and we were greeted with a smile. The one drawback was that there was no full length mirror in the room. But overall, the rooms were large and the bathrooms were clean and oversized.

Excellent Stay The Carnegie Hotel is clean, quiet, and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful, and parking is free and easy. It’s in a great location—just a short walk to the ETSU campus. The restaurant has fantastic food and a classy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Everything was lovely. Our first night felt like the AC wasn’t working really well. The Spa experience was amazing. We went to the pool and the bugs/mosquitos were a little frustrating. Wellingtons was awesome as were the bartenders at the bar. The staff was friendly, courteous and efficient every time we interacted.
