My recent stay from 10th to 11th May 2025 at Amari Hotel Johor Bahru was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and professional—special thanks to the team who checked us in for their excellent service. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a Deluxe King Room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained—kudos to Mr. Sharul for outstanding housekeeping! Every detail was perfect. The hotel’s prime location was a huge plus—just a short distance from City Square and Komtar JBCC Mall, making shopping and dining super convenient. Thanks to the entire team for making our stay memorable. We’ll definitely be back for another short getaway with family! Keep up the fantastic work!

Very nice hotel n clean. Staffs were friendly service especially Fikir who checked us in. Room was very clean n bed n pillows were very comfortable to sleep. Lots of shopping malls n restaurants around n walking distance. Breakfast was good, variety of foods. We enjoyed staying in Amari Hotel, will stay here again.

Stay was at most average, was there slightly early (less than 1 hr ahead of check-in time) with a sleeping baby. Proceeded to check-in, asking and hoping that the room would be ready ahead of the official check-in time. Staff checked, and advised that room is ready, and the housekeeping just needs to do a final check. Requested for me to take a seat and the room will be ready shortly. Did so, but ended up waiting for more than an hour for the room to be ready. Ironically, guest that arrived later than us got their room ahead of us. Ended up having to join the check-in queue to get check-in again. Terrible experience. Room was spacious but clearly under-maintained.

Not the best hotel

The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. However, the condition of the hotel is not good. The toilet is not clean and old, Insects flying inside my toilets. You can feel that the carpet is not clean; it makes you itchy when you step on it. The swimming pool is not nice because the residents in the next building are right next to the pool and can see everything. To conclude, I would recommend someone to try another hotel for this price.
