Beautiful property at Joshua Tree

My family and I visited Joshua Tree and stayed at Grants home. The home was just as advertised. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. We only wish that our stay had been longer!! Thank you Grant for being very quick with reply’s and opening up your home to vrbo guests like us.

Some basic items need to be improved/fixed such as heat did not work in one bedroom, clothes dryer had no handle to open the machine, insufficient toilet paper, no hand towels in the bathroom,...

New year 1st trip

As our 1st trip of the year we choose to visit Joshua Tree NP. Our stay was super pleasant as the hose was exactly as stated, we only wish we booked for 2days and enjoy the back yard and jacuzzi.

A little shabby for the price

The house needs cleaning, paint and repair. Having doors off their hinges shows a lack of maintenance. Advertised as sleeps 8; no linens for pullout sofa and not enough cutlery or dishes to accommodate our group.

Property was dirty. Sheets/bathrooms were not clean - black long hair in sheets and bathroom/tub. No wash rags, nor top sheets. Garbage laying outside. I would advise not to stay at this property

Perfect Getaway!

Went to Joshua Tree for a few days as a relaxing getaway with some friends to celebrate my birthday. The house was beautiful and we loved taking advantage of all the amenities like the hot tub, fire pit, and game room! Loved getting to play pac-man, galaga, and ping pong. Wish we stayed longer so we could’ve played pool or some of the board games too!! The beds were super cozy, and the kitchen was stocked with spices which made it super convenient for cooking meals! Communication was super quick whenever we reached out with questions. overall, was a wonderful trip, would definitely stay here again!!

Disappointing and unkept

Pictures were deceiving
 We arrived, and the overall appearance of the home did not look as it did in photos. The house was not a level of clean we expected. It seemed spot cleaned and certainly not dusted or professionally cleaned. Carpet was visibly soiled. We found a roach under one bed. We could not use the patio furniture because it was heavily soiled/stained. We had to buy our own dish sponge. The master door knob was faulty and required a second person to let you out from the outside. Inadequate silverwear/glasswear as if stocked with leftover utensils and glasses at random. Expected K-pods or at least filters that fit the coffee maker- not provided. Hot tub not clean with a ring of dirt around the sides. We attempted to enjoy the fire pit at night and eat outside but were met with tons of roaches scurrying everywhere. It was not a pleasant stay.

Wonderfull Stay

It was a very pleasant experience for our family of 6 (2 adults, 2 young age kids, 3 and 6 and 2 elderly in 70s) We stayed two nights for our Joshua Tree NP visit, the location was great, the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. The host communicated every single detail prior to our trip and followed up right after. Easy check in and check out. The beds were comfortable. We slept in all three rooms and were happy about the quality of the bedding. We loved pretty much everything the property had to offer. The garage was converted to a game room and kids had plenty of fun after hikes in the park. The hottub is properly located -- relaxing in the hot water meanwhile looking up at the stars, perfect! Talking about looking up at the stars -- we were hoping that we could enjoy the dark sky from the backyard, however apparently the town of JT was too bright so we ended up going back to the park to get the dark sky treatment. It's not the host's fault obviously. Again we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back if we visit JTNP again! Thanks for hosting us!

Boho Chic!

We had an amazing long weekend at the perfectly appointed Boho Haus. The decor and style was hip, cool and lovely with lots of natural light throughout. Clean with a big, well appointed kitchen. Communication was A+ from beginning to end. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, which is very important to us. Unfortunately, our weekend was cold and rainy but thankfully we had the GAME room to keep us entertained as well as a nice newer TV and large kitchen table for games and puzzles. Kitchen had all you need although I did communicate with Host that some items in the kitchen could use an update and to provide hand towels or paper towels. We would definitely return again.
