Situated on the Royal North Kaanapali Golf Course, 13th green. The competition course played on by all the greats! Spacious and elegantly designed with lush tropical views, this home will delight all visitors. Pool with turtle mosaic, Jacuzzi and large sun deck wrapped in verdant foliage highlighted with foot bridge and pool waterfall. Fire up that grill and enjoy your dinner poolside, this is your own private resort!

Entering Hale Kohala you immediately notice the marble floors, indoor waterfall with whimsical sculptured fish and inviting layout. Both Master Bedrooms are located on 1st level, each with ensuite bath. King Bedroom 3 and Queen Bedroom 4 are located first floor as well with an inviting living area central to all. A two story atrium rises before you in the from of an open winding staircase. Above is an amazing Humpback whale sculpture with several other artistic surprises in store. Hale Kohola has won several design awards, it is a villa of unique pleasures!

Reaching the 2nd level you realize just how expansive this home is! An enormous open 'U' shaped floor plan incorporates large welcoming kitchen, dining and living area complete with gaming table, large screen TV, stereo and DVD player. This truly is a home designed for large scale entertaining and fun. But wait, there's more, open the French doors to lanai in living and dining areas to view ocean sunset, surrounded by layered tropical foliage. Also on the 2nd level are bonus rooms: office room and a hall full bath. Located just behind the kitchen is another room which includes a daybed couch

Hale Kohola is located on one of the Kaanapali golf courses, it's also only moments from beaches, restaurants and shopping! You simply can not find another home for this price and value! Guests who stay at Hale Kohola are happy guests!

Wireless high-speed internet. 4 MP3 docks I-Homes. Pool 4ft to 8ft in the middle. Approx 24'-25' in size side to side. Pool can be heated for an additional fee of $125 per night. 24 hour notice must be provided to turn on pool heater. Use of Hot tub heater is included with your booking.

The house is stunning with a double master set up! The whole house is basically mirrored with large areas to relax and entertain. The views from the second story balcony are stunning and a constant reminder that you’re staying in paradise. Daniel was very attentive and prompt with response. If you plan your next Maui trip, stay here and you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing house with all the amenities and space you’ll need for an unforgettable group trip (family, couples etc). The location is 15 mins or less from a ton of things to do, beaches, golf, restaurants. Daniel was super responsive with any questions. Had all the beach umbrellas, chairs, scuba and coolers you’ll need for beach days. Can’t recommend enough.

This rental is a stunner!! Absolutely beautiful inside and out! The house is amazingly spacious with 2 very large masters and one of the biggest kitchens I have ever seen. The pool and spa are very private and the unit is accommodated with toys and floats to use in the pool. Location is prefect with a short walk to a beautiful beach that is perfect for families and snorkeling. In addition to all that, the host was great! Very responsive and accommodating for check in/out. I would 100% book here again!

The Best VRBO Stay EVER!

We absolutely loved this house and property. Our group was a mixture of friends and family. Everyone had their favorite place to relax or unwind on the property. Whether it was swimming in the pool, unwinding in the hot tub, lounging on the deck or BBQing on the grill. This place had it all. Another bonus was all of the beach chairs, mats umbrellas and towels, so we were all set. The kitchen was very large. We made most meals at the house. We enjoyed having two refrigerators as we needed them! We are already planning our return!

Amazing, spacious house that has it all!

We had a wonderful vacation here! The home is beautiful, we loved the pool, and really appreciated all the activity gear that’s available on site (snorkel gear, life vests, pool floats, bodyboards!). We hope to stay here again next time we travel to Hawaii

Christmas at the Whale House

Our week at the Whale House was terrific. The house was built quite a few years ago, but was originally someone’s dream retirement home and has many beautiful custom features. The living spaces are huge, the bedrooms & bathrooms are super comfortable, and the kitchen is enormous and really well equipped. We also loved having the outdoor barbeque area and the pool and jacuzzi. The house was perfect for our family.

Quick Responses from property manager

A fuse had to be replaced for the spa, which the property manager took care of very quickly. Overall, the house is large enough to give a family group overall privacy in the setting, and each person some privacy in the well laid-out floor plan and outdoor spaces. Be aware there are two flights of stairs to get to the main living area and kitchen, but the stairs are double hand railed and carpeted. The privacy from palms and other vegetation and a private road type setting in front and a golf green up small flight of stairs in back of house was just what we wanted.

Incredible!

What a wonderful stay at the Whale House! This home does not disappoint. My husband and our friends had the best time. We love to cook so the kitchen was a dream! The pictures don't do it justice. We loved spending our mornings and evenings on the second floor porch overlooking the pool and sunsets. Everyone had ample space and privacy. Daniel was so quick to respond with any questions we had, incredibly helpful. I would stay here in a heartbeat if we get back to Maui. Mahalo!

Great home and location!!

My family (10 total) stayed at this beautiful home for a week and had so much fun! The location is close to several beaches, shops, restaurants and exciting excursions. We loved the big kitchen, and enjoyed cooking and sitting around the large table together. The kids enjoyed the round pool as well. Would definitely stay here again

Our private Maui hotel

Where do I start? Plenty of room for our blended family of 9 to space out comfortably. The upstairs area was great for eating as a family and enjoying movies and games in the evening. Fantastic/spectacular views of sunrise/sunset from the balcony, great place for your morning coffee. So close to the beach and so many other wonderful places to go. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect house for family trip

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of space for everyone to spread out. Hot tub was easy to use and private pool was great. Location was perfect easy walk or drive to the beach and shopping. The few minor issue we had were promptly address by Daniel and resolved quickly. View from the balcony was great for watching the whales in the channel. Kitchen was huge and well stocked made cooking dinners easy (the fish market Maui was a quick drive away for fresh fish) highly recommend this house if you are travelling with a larger group.

Whale House For The Win!

This property is incredible! This is our second time in Maui and first at the Whale House. If we make it back to Maui a third time, we will most certainly be staying here again. Perfect Christmas getaway

My family (mother, sisters, brothers in law, niece, nephew, and sons) have been planning a Christmas vacation away for a long time. This house was perfect for it! Rooms were spacious including the kitchen which was large enough that several people could be helping at once prepare the meals and clean up afterwards. The large dining table allowed us all to eat together. We loved the deck outside which grill for outdoor cooking. The pool was nice however, because there was no propane available due to supply issues, we weren't able to have our pool heated during our stay. The house was very clean and organized. Having beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards available was great! We used them every day and then used the washing machine and dryer at night to clean all the towels for the next day. The house was in a good location near the beach. When the bicycles tires were flat and the tire pump wasn’t functional the owners dropped off a new bike pump in a timely manner so the boys could go riding. The back of the house looks onto the golf course and we had a beautiful view of the trees and the ocean from the second floor balcony. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the Whale House!

A Slice of Paradise with Every Amenity Imaginable!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Hawaii home through VRBO, and it was nothing short of a dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the lush surroundings, breathtaking pool, and the warmth of the Hawaiian sun. The property is an absolute gem, and the private pool was a highlight of our stay. Surrounded by swaying palm trees and tropical flowers, the pool area provided a secluded oasis where we could unwind and soak up the sun. The crystal-clear water was a refreshing escape from the heat, and all the kids and adults found themselves spending countless hours lounging on the comfortable poolside furniture. The home itself is a true haven of comfort and luxury. The two-floor layout allowed for seamless indoor-outdoor living, with lots of room for 10 of us. The bedrooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the island. One of the standout features of the property is the well-appointed kitchen. It had everything we needed to prepare delicious meals, and we took full advantage of the modern appliances and ample counter space. Enjoying breakfast on the outdoor patio with the sound of Hawaii in the background became a cherished morning ritual. The property manager was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was to our satisfaction. I definitely recommend the property we stayed at!

WONDERFUL

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach is not a lie! However, the walk back to the house is all uphill but short. 😊. There were enough bedrooms for our family of 12 and enough room if we needed our own space. Kitchen amenities were great, along with everything we needed for the beach. Be aware, there are many steps going into the house and in the house. The main bedrooms are on the ground level and kitchen and living on the upper. The view from the lanai is amazing. Communication with Daniel and Kendra, during our stay was great. Thank you My husband arranged a surprise marriage vow renewal on Napili Bay. 24.5 years. The first time was on Big Beach.

Family vacation

In town for a family wedding and vacation and booked this home. Stayed multiple times 20 years ago and it was just how we remembered it. Had a couple of maintenance problems but the management team addressed them quickly and dispatched technicians quickly. All was great!
