The resort was nice with a few complaints. The food quality is not worth the prices they charge. Our bathroom sink had a sewage smell to it. Their fire pit did not turn on and the hot tub was "sealed off". Also, there is no night life around the resort, it has a wonderful and chill vibe to it but there is very little to do around the resort.

The room was absolutely spectacular! We have stayed at this resort multiple times and the rooms, service and staff are second to none. We love being right on the beach and the singer every night from 6-9pm under the tree is one of our favorite things. Mad shout out to GINA! In a world where customer service is on the decline, Gina made our whole stay incredible. That saint of a woman deserves a raise and made the Royal Lahaina our resort of choice when staying in Kaanapali! Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for around 6-7 days and had paid extra and booked the complete ocean view room but when we reached, they gave us a room that was hardly partial ocean view. When we complained, they said this is the only one available but still charged us for the complete ocean view room.

The room was clean and the staff were courteous. The shower was not working. Even though it was fixed, the shower flow was still low. Ended up not using the resort dining credits since they were not advertised during check in. Cons:The breakfast was average with limited vegetarian options. The breakfast food quality, the coffee, and service left a lot to be desired. Charging for parking in a non - urban area felt excessive. Positives: Great location and access to beach, courteous and helpful staff. Luau was fantastic. Rooms were very good. Comfortable stay.
