Aloha! Planning your Hawaii Vacation just got a lot easier as you’ve found the perfect place! Kalanikai 118 is located in the desirable Kailua-Kona right along the shores of the Big Island’s west coast.



The Space:

This completely refreshed condo has everything needed for an ideal Hawaiian vacation experience. The location can’t be beat to take full advantage of the area’s best attractions. Not only will you be just a short stroll away from sandy beaches and the ocean surf, but guests of Kalanikai 118 will also enjoy amazing onsite amenities of a sparkling pool, shaded barbecue area, and a tropical setting surrounded by a lush garden of plants and trees.



Advantageously within walking distance to Ali’i Drive, you’ll be minutes away to popular bars and nightlife, farmer’s markets for stocking up on fresh produce, restaurants serving up delicious local cuisine, and boutique shopping options. Kailua Pier offers a host of water-themed activities from sportfishing and swimming to diving and snorkeling and everything in between.



We provide 2 beach chairs and 1 cooler for guest use. Beach towels are available for guests.



If you’re in the mood to relax and enjoy a cozy evening in, the stylish kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware and dining ware you’ll need to whip up delicious meals at home. Pull up a high-top stool at the island or take your meal outside to the lanai and enjoy the lush garden views. After dinner, settle into the comfortable living room sofa and stream all your favorite shows on the smart TV.



This condo comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests and is ideal for small families. It is best suited for 2 adults and 2 children, offering one private bedroom and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. The bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed with crisp linens and soft blankets for a restful night’s sleep, along with its own smart TV.



The full guest bathroom is located next to the bedroom and features a barn door for privacy when in use that can be locked from the inside. The bedroom also has its own separate door, allowing for additional privacy between the bedroom and bathroom areas.



THINGS TO NOTE:

‱ Dedicated parking available for 1 vehicle.

‱ This is a ground floor unit with a step into the unit.

‱ Air conditioning only in the living room/kitchen. The air conditioning system is programmed to maintain a minimum temperature of 75°F.

‱ No on-site office for checking-in or making requests.

‱ Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, on the premises, and in any nearby common areas. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine, plus any additional costs for carpet and upholstery cleaning or other damages caused.



This condo is centrally located and provides easy driving distances to many of the Big Island’s attractions. Anaeho’omalu Bay and the Waikoloa Resort area are 40 minutes away where you can enjoy amazing snorkeling along coral reefs or take leisurely strolls along a mile-long white sand beach or the secluded coves among rows of coconut palms and ancient Hawaiian fishponds. Mountain and sea canyon hiking can also be found nearby. Several National Parks are within 0.5 to 1 hours drive from the condo. The famous Volcanoes National Park is a beautiful 2 hour scenic drive away.



When in Hawaii, make sure you also dive into the unique culture of Kona, where coffee shops source beans straight from Kona coffee farms, Big Wave Golden Ale is brewed fresh at the Kona Brewpub, and local farmers markets are teeming with artisan goods and just-harvested produce.

Beautiful

The condo exceeded our expectations! Very beautiful and the in-suite washer/dryer was a huge plus. The grounds are very well kept and having access to a BBQ by the pool (also well kept) made the stay even better. Nice proximity to the ocean and shops - very walkable. Host (Grand Welcome) was very accommodating to our inquiries and requests - would definitely stay here again given the opportunity!

Pls stay away from booking this home! A third party manages it, and it's painful to interact with them! The home doesn’t have a toilet door which was not listed when we booked the property! Without having a toilet door, we checked out with an hour of check-in/same day! The whole house has a lingering Smell which is not common in other properties and just doesn't go away! We had to find another property at the last minute! It's not suitable for a family at all!

Lovely condo in downtown Kailua-Kona

We really enjoyed our 6-night stay in this very spacious condo. It's conveniently located, close to Ali'i Drive and downtown Kailua-Kona. We walked to all the area's restaurants & sites that we wanted to visit. The updated kitchen was very well supplied with dishes, utensils, pots & pans, appliances, etc. We especially appreciated the beach supplies (cooler, beach chairs & towels, mats, umbrella) that we took on trips to beaches & sites all along the west coast. The small pool looked inviting, but we were too busy to make use of it. The lanai had a nice view of tropical plants, which made the highway just south of the complex much less noticeable. We highly recommend this condo!

Fabulous centrally located condo

Check in was very smooth. We received check in instructions the day before, found our parking spot and entered the condo easily. It was very clean. This condo is very centrally located. Safeway is a short walk (or drive) up the hill, the Big Island Grill is across the street, Kona Brewing was within walking distance and it was not too far to downtown Kona for other restaurants and farmer's market. KTA, Walmart and Longs were also close by. The king bed was comfy and there was a second TV in the bedroom. We were happy to find camp chairs, beach towels and some coolers. The pool area was really nice and we spent a couple days there when the weather was a little cloudy. Two grills are in the pool area. We used them for a dinner of grilled steaks and pineapple. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative I could think to add is that there were no chocolate covered macadamia nuts awaiting us as the picture suggests. But Costco wasn't too far away for getting some of those.
