Absolutely stunning unit at Kona Makai! Unit#6-305 is a gorgeous fully remodeled top floor unit. It features a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom oceanfront space of 779 square feet & an 122 square foot lanai. This condo can sleep up to 6!

Breathtaking ocean, mountain, and pool views from this incredibly popular top floor condo. Being in building #6, this is one of the closest buildings to the ocean and in high demand. The loft space is treated as a whole second bedroom!
You'll be able to enjoy vaulted ceilings, custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, efficient air conditioning units & neutral, island-inspired design throughout the unit.
Amenities like Cable TV & High Speed Wifi are available, as well as Beach Gear for Hawaii's adventures.

The Furniture is inviting & comfortable. The Living Room has a pull out sofa! Take the spiral staircase to the spacious loft, which has wood accents, vaulted ceilings, a comfortable queen sized bed & 2 bunk beds! The 2nd Bedroom is considered the Loft, which is quite comfortable!

Our bad luck

The place was in a great location, it was very clean. The bedding was great. They left us laundry detergent and dish detergent. There were beach towels, coolers, chairs (albeit somewhat broken). The property was well laid out, and everything worked. Under normal circumstances my only complaint would have been that it was HOT when we arrived, and it took 2 days of both acs of full blast (which was loud) to cool down. The upstairs loft part really didnt get below 79.2 hours before we arrived we wereinformedd that the 'possible' spalling work listed as an asterisk was in fact occuring on our balcony. Which meant 1/4 was roped off and we couldnt use it. And 2 of the mornings there were workers actively chiseling. So no morning coffees on the balcony for us. Plus there was construction dust and equipment so even when we were alone it was not comfortable to be on the balcony. This was an extreme dissappintment as the view and the balcony were a huge reason we chose this place.So overall, its probably a great place to stay most of the time. It just so happened the 'possible spalling' since april of 2024 meant my 5 days in May of 2025 had active concrete sanding, tiling, construction dust and a closed section of our balcony. I was hugely disappointed.

Would not recommend

The property manager waited till the very last minute (2 hours before check-in) to provide instructions despite asking numerous times. I was honestly looking for another place to stay after already paying the full amount in advance . When you are flying into a location for vacation folks want all the information completed in a timely manner. The beds were very uncomfortable and they expected us to do laundry and clean despite paying a cleaning fee. Also so many rules about what you can do on the property it was unreasonable not to mention on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I suggest you look elsewhere.

Ideal Condo in Kona

This condo was perfect for our family of four. It had a beautiful view off the lanai, plenty of beds and everything we needed for a week in Hawaii. The air conditioning was a huge benefit as well. Would definitely rent this place again if we come back. The communication with the rental agency was great, they responded quickly to any questions we had. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful condo! Beautiful view!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful condo. It was extremely comfortable for our family of 3 although there are also bunk beds to accommodate a larger group. Kitchen was super well stocked although we did not cook in at all. Complex has beautiful setting for communal grills right by beach which are frequently utilized. Noticed maintenance crew cleaning them this am which is a nice perk, too. Pool area very comfortable and beautiful spot to enjoy views of ocean crashing upon rocks. Plentiful bath and beach towel supply. Beach items were super nice to have including chairs and snorkel gear. Tennis racquets were appreciated as well. Rental agency was great to work with on getting in and staying in touch to make sure we were all settled. Everything very well stocked as stated and no biggie but note bathroom toiletries very limited so bring your own shampoo and bath soap. Sofa not very comfy but two recliners were awesome
plus most time spent on adventures or out on perfect lanai. Overall, two thumbs up for condo, location, view and very helpful rental agency!
