*GEM Neighborhood Electric Vehicle/Low Speed Vehicle* is INCLUDED with your daily rate. Travel in safety & style with seating for four (seatbelts required) and a trunk for your belongings. All operators must be at least 18 years old & have a valid driver's license. A signed waiver is required as part of the rental agreement.

*Mauna Lani Sports & Fitness Club* is INCLUDED in your daily rate. Access court use of tennis/pickleball and rackets/paddles/balls, state-of-the-art facilities & equipment and a 25-meter heated lap pool.

*The Recreational Center* at Kulalani includes a large Ohana Pool & Spa along with a smaller "keiki" pool. There is also a short 2-lane Lap Pool & Spa "for adults only." Comfortable seating, tables, a large BBQ grill and a small refrigerator are available for your dining needs.

A truly spectacular view of the "five mountains" of the Kohala Mountain range, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Hualalai and Haleakala (Maui) can be seen on clear, sunny days while driving on Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway (19).

Naupaka @ Kulalani is a beautiful 2 level air-conditioned townhouse; fully furnished with master and guest bedroom suites, 2½ bathrooms and 2 spacious covered lanais, one on each level. The wrap-around 1st level lanai has a built-in gas BBQ, bar sink with cabinets.

The 2nd level master bedroom suite has a king-size bed, a study that includes a coffee table with hidden desktop, and its own secluded lanai. The 2nd bedroom suite has a queen-size bed and is situated at the opposite end of the hallway. An AeroBed Comfort Lock Queen Air Mattress is available which can be used in the downstairs living room as another sleeping option.

Electronics & entertainment include HDTV, DVD player, cable, Netflix®, 200 Mbps internet, in-home Wi-Fi, unlimited nationwide calling, and multiple USB/ac charging outlets.

Safety equipment includes: first-aid kit, portable fire extinguisher, smoke & carbon monoxide detectors.

Gem of a condo, gem as a golf cart but best of all a GEM of a host. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Lots of extras like loads of toilet paper and paper towels, bathroom towels and shower goodies. Can’t miss on this one. I’m down for January! Enjoy

Great stay with every imaginable amenity included

Great stay in a very well-maintained townhouse. The hosts were super communicative and helpful, check-in was seamless with electronic keys and codes. The house was stocked with everything needed for a great stay ... kitchen pantry basics, beach gear and toys, extra towels, etc. The electric cart is surprisingly useful to get around Mauna Lani. The unit also comes with access to the Mauna Lani Tennis club where you can rent tennis and pickleball courts for free, along with free demo racquets -- just bring your court shoes from home! We never had a problem getting court time. The parking pass to the Mauna Lani Beach Club is also useful, but I think Hapuna Beach is superior and worth the drive. All in all, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great host & condo has everything you could want!

We had a great stay at this property. We have stayed in Mauna Lani many times, but this may be my favorite! The pool at Kulalani is lovely, it is a nice morning walk to the "coral beach" near the Fairmont Orchid. The condo itself had EVERYTHING we would possibly need and the Gem cart was just the thing for any of our travels within Mauna Lani. Ralph was a terrific host, giving us a quick telephone orientation upon our arrival and had some good ideas for things to do while there. (Happy Hour at the Mauna Lani was his suggestion! The Surf Shack! Don't miss it!)

Exceptional Rental!

We had the most amazing vacation and so much of it was renting this property! It has absolutely everything you need and want. The GEM cart gets you almost everywhere you need in the area. They offer all the beach amenities you could need. The notebook is filled with helpful information and was so helpful in finding several beaches and other things to do. The owner was very helpful throughout our stay. We usually opt for hotels, but this experience really changed our ways of traveling. Thanks again, we had a wonderful visit.

Lovely fully stocked condo and easy contact with property manager. Only downside was the adult pool and hot tub are undergoing renovation and unable to use. Also front gate to property is really hard to reach from car. Otherwise all good

Great rental!

The place was exactly as described on VRBO. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we need to cook our own meals. There were even a few spices available for our use - which is a bonus!There were plenty of beach equipment for our use. We really enjoyed using the golf cart to use around the resort area. The highlight of the place was the access to the beach club, tennis courts and gym! We will certainly look for this rental next time as it exceeded our expections.

Big island memories

I understand why this VRBO gets rated so highly- the house has everything you could need for the beach from chairs, snorkels, boogie boards and more, and the resort area had so much to offer. The Gem was the icing on the cake. Ralph was a perfect host - thoughtful and quick to respond to any questions.

Terrific Condo

My wife and I had a terrific week at this property to celebrate her birthday. The property was just as expected from the photos. The location was centrally located on the West side of the island so we could hit the resorts North of us or head towards Kona. It was also close to the new highway to take you to Hilo. The owner was easy to get in contact with and did a brief orientation when we first arrived over the phone.

Amazing - start to finish

I don't usually leave reviews, even though I travel quite a bit. But this place was spectacular. Super clean, well appointed, beach gear, bikes, electric car, pool passes, beach passes, well stocked kitchen appliances, tools, etc. Owners were kind and responsive and helpful. The complex is safe, quiet, close to the beach, grocery store, and a few shops.

You’ll Never Want to go Home

Even better than the listing!

This place is perfect! My husband, 2 kids 11 & 13 and myself found everything we needed and then some, for an amazing week on the big island. My bro was competing in the Iron Man Competition in Kona so we came out from Maine. His family was staying down there closer to the race and as much as we’d like to be with them, it was so great to be out of the race madness and road closures. And it also served as a great place for his family to come visit us when they wanted to escape it. The house had everything we needed, boogie boards, a wagon for the beach to lug our stuff, beach/pool toys, a variety of sizes of snorkel fins and masks, coolers, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas. The property has 2 great, clean pools for the days when we didnt want to go to the beach. The house also comes with an electric Gem Cart! This could not have been more fun and convenient! We took it all over the place. Down to the Foodland for a quick grocery run, out to the beach at the end of the road for sunset, to the other private BEAUTIFUL beach club for the mist amazing snorkeling experience. A ton of different restaurants. Ralph was so nice and responsive and helpful when we had questions or needed tips. We had an unexpected friend poop in to visit and there was a super convenient and comfortable blow up mattress for him to sleep on. If and when we come back to this island, we wouldn’t think to stay anywhere else. Thank you Ralph and Pricilla!!

A Perfect Week Away

This property offers everything you could want for the perfect vacation away from home. The condo is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed. The beds are awesome - I have never slept better. There are coolers, floats, boogie boards, snorkel gear, bikes -- everything you need for a fun day out. The owner helps make the stay comfortable and convenient. Ralph is so well organized you feel as if you have your very own concierge :-) He has awesome pre/during/post communication - and cares that your stay is the best it can be. Thank you, Ralph, for going above and beyond for your guests! The GEM cart made zipping around the property fun and easy. Everything is about 10 min away -- beach, tennis, grocery, hiking, golf. The HOA keeps things immaculate -- the pool, the gardens, the tennis facility, the beach, the restaurant and bar -- you never need to leave the property, and are surrounded by luxury at every turn. It feels like you are staying at a very high end country club. It was a really nice week for the family. I look forward to returning hopefully not too far in the future. :-)

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely time on the Kona side staying at Ralph and Priscilla's property. We rode the GEM cart almost every day to get around the resort and the Mauna Lani Beach Club was beautiful. The unit was very well stocked, and Ralph was very responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed.

Ralph and the Mauna Lani were Amazing

All was as it was meant to be, and that is fantastic. A bit of a tropical storm hit us for a day, but it forced us to relax and slow down. A welcome and unplanned gift. Thank you Hawai’i ohana, you always provide us with the needed perspective.
