Nature Escape in Kander Valley

Just 35 km southwest of Interlaken, on the quiet outskirts of Kandergrund, this lovingly renovated chalet offers a cozy cabin experience. The tastefully furnished, 30 m² apartment with its own entrance is ideal for two guests seeking comfort and charm in the Bernese Oberland. Inside, you'll find a comfortable living/bedroom with a plush double bed, warm electric heating, and everything you need for a relaxing retreat after a day in the mountains. Meanwhile, the garden terrace invites you to unwind with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee against the breathtaking backdrop of the Blümlisalp massif.

Year-round adventures await. In winter, the slopes of the Adelboden-Lenk and Kandersteg ski resorts are just a short drive away. Skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing make this region a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. For a smooth journey, we recommend winter tires and snow chains during the snowy months. In summer, the alpine meadows and valleys offer a network of hiking and biking trails, while the Kander River and the Kandertal valley invite you to enjoy leisurely walks, picnics, and explorations.

Tastes and Comfort in the Surroundings
After your adventures, savor authentic Swiss cuisine in nearby restaurants – whether fondue, rösti, or hearty alpine stews. For a more relaxed evening, shop for local ingredients just one kilometer away and dine al fresco on your terrace while watching the alpenglow on the mountain peaks. We enjoyed our holiday in Switzerland, super hospitable owners of property Stöckli. We got all the detailed information available in order to plan our vacation. Well For us a week was certainly lacking even though we did not have great weather every day. In the house everything was there that you needed. Delicious no TV, but wifi and a radio so you could check news and weather. We did not need more. In short, for us a great holiday!

Het personeel was vriendelijk en echt behulpzaam toen ik advies nodig had. De kamer was knus en had alles wat ik nodig had om op afstand te werken. Ik vond het ook fijn om mijn eigen ingang te hebben, dat maakte in- en uitgaan gemakkelijk. De verwarming hield me warm na koude bergwandelingen ook.

Wir haben die Tage absolut genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft hat alles, was es braucht . Da wir ausserdem auch im Oktober noch Glück mit dem Wetter hatten, konnten wir am angrenzend, eigenen kleinen Gartensitzplatz sogar noch wunderbar am Morgen draussen Frühstücken - herrlich :) Vielen Dank für die erholsame Bergzeit und die Gastfreundschaft.

Heerlijk huis. Alles wat we nodig hadden. 'S Morgens lekker buiten koffie drinken of ontbijten. Tijdstip afhankelijk van vakantieperiode wanneer de zon over de bergtop komt. Verder heerlijk genieten van het landschap dichtbij of wat verder weg. Wij hebben veel gewandeld.

Eenvoudige kleine maar geriefelijke vakantiewoning. Vriendelijke Nederlands sprekende eigenaresse. Grote supermarkt iets verderweg (Frutigen), maar redelijk dichtbij een kleine Laden. Met Gästekarte gratis gebruik van de bus en op 300 meter afstand een halte. Genoeg te zien in deze prachtige omgeving.

Diese Unterkunft hat eine fantastische Atmosphäre! Die Terrasse mit ihrem einzigartigen Ausblick ist perfekt für entspannte Abende. Das bequeme Doppelbett und die elektrische Heizung sorgten für angenehme Wärme. Die nahegelegenen Skipisten sind ein riesiger Pluspunkt für Wintersportbegeisterte. Lokale Restaurants sind nur wenige Schritte entfernt – kurzum, diese Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Volltreffer!
