was never able to get into home. Phone number listed for contact was not the person that owns home was charged and could never get a hold of any one my stay was for Christmas day and had to find a hotel. Requested refund but was never reached out to.

Independence stay
Driving up to the property, we almost left and went somewhere else..the neighborhood is pretty sketchy and the outside of the property needs some serious repair work..once inside, the small home(which is part of a duplex, which wasn’t mentioned in the vrbo description), was clean but had a strong smell of marijuana and very warm..the window air conditioner had not been turned on, so the warmth of the home made the marijuana smell even worse..when I addressed this with the property manager, Cameron Ray, I received no response and I made some other inquiries, which received no response also…the only communication from Cameron were emails that were auto-generated giving the door code, etc.. no communication was ever made through the vrbo site, which I thought was odd. I would not recommend this property unless there is a different property manager that is actually helpful.

Needs a little improvement
I had a bad experience trying to get communication with my host, so make sure you have contact with the company directly, not the host for any questions and payments. When we arrived the floor and carpet were not cleaned. No extra linens and blankets for a 3rd person, we only found stuff on trash bags inside a closet and that didn’t gave us the confidence to use. Bed is very uncomfortable and unstable. There’s only one ac to keep the house cool so you can’t close the bedroom door. Quiet neighborhood.

Clean & Cozy
Very clean and comfortable stay. It's in an older neighborhood that is quiet. Located about .5 a mi from Independence Square, it's in a wonderful location. We had a wonderful experience and stay!

Enjoyed our stay
The listing photos are accurate to the location; the outside which is not shown in the photos is a duplex. No neighbors while we stayed there. Owner was responsive and let us check in early for $25. One thing I’d mention is we were in this property while it was very cold out and the window unit really struggled to keep up. If the weather is below 20 don’t expect the place to be above 60.
