Large Spacious Home with Pool - Perfect place for Entertaining! Prime Location!

Do you love to entertain? If so, look no further! This home has everything you need for large family gatherings (NO RAGING/WILD PARTIES) or your own private oasis. Enjoy the salt water INGROUND POOL with a diving board, open Memorial Day - October 1st (typically sooner/later, weather permitting). Pets are welcome, no CATS please! Grab a cool beverage from the outdoor shed refrigerator, complete with a bathroom. If you're not up for a swim, catch some rays on the wrap around deck, relax on the comfortable outdoor sectional underneath the pergola or get cozy on the wooden double swings while roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. If you prefer the indoors, head to the finished basement to enjoy a drink at the bar, play a round of pool, darts or ping pong, or relax on the couch and watch TV. You can even get your workout on in the GYM or enjoy a competitive game of basketball in the Cul de sac.

This home is located in close proximity to downtown Kansas City, Chiefs and Royals stadiums, SportingKC, casinos, shopping centers, multiple youth sports complexes and much more! After a fun day of exploring all that Kansas City has to offer, relax in one of the NINE (9) comfortable beds, including three king, four queen and two full beds. If you have more than 18 guests, air mattresses will be provided!

This home has been in the family for more than 50 years and we want you to enjoy it as much as we have! If there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know. We look forward to having you as our guest!

We booked this house based on the pictures, previous reviews, and location. The house had the number of bedrooms and bathrooms we needed plus adequate large gathering spaces for our group. Mike always responded in a timely manner to any questions and quickly fixed a broken shower door. However, the house needs a major deep cleaning and a lot of maintenance. We were concerned with some safety issues including an open hole in the wall with many electrical cords coming out of it and the sliding glass door to the backyard. We were not impressed with the quality of the bath towels and wash cloths, lack of kitchen dish towels, and the fact that we were lucky if we had one full roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We were very disappointed that the pictures posted did not accurately represent the current state of the house. In our opinion the house is overpriced. This house would be wonderful if these conditions were improved because it is a great size for a large group.

The cleaning person had not cleaned the house before our arrival (she got the date wrong, but the owner did not catch it until just before we arrived). We hung out until 8:00 PM and then dried the linens ourselves and made beds ourselves.The house needs maintenance and a deep cleaning. The party room and pool were fun, but the "gym" had only broken equipment. Towels were skimpy in number and quality, as were the t.p., paper towels, NO beach towels provided. The kitchen, though spacious, was extremely disorganized. The ice-maker did not work. The t.v. was very hard to use. Some of the bed frames were funky. The driveway and front sidewalk are dangerously broken in places. The water main broke and we were without water for 24 hours. In general, for more than 6,000 for the week, the overall experience was disappointing. I would like an adjustment in our fee.

Amazing! Can’t beat this place!

This is truly a gem of a place! We had 4 families stay, 17 ages 16-50 and a 1 year old. Plenty of beds, plus there were air mattresses if needed. Everything we needed for 1 year old, even toys outside. Can’t say enough about the outdoor area, where we spent all our time when at the house. Lots of place for all of us. We grilled and used fire pit with no problem. The outdoor tv was fun, watched a movie while playing cards at night. Pool was amazing, and way bigger than we thought. Absolutely no issues what so ever! Enough bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the basement. Neighborhood was wonderful, quiet, nice neighbors, plenty of parking. Again, cannot say enough about this place, book it! You will not be disappointed!

This was a repeat stay for our family! All 14 of us from ages 3-70 had plenty to enjoy right on the property, which is why we returned. The pool is well designed to accommodate toddlers not yet swimming and older children enjoying the diving board. Fun times for all in the lower level in the game room as well! This property was an incredible stay! Mike was more than accommodating and his communication was incredible. We had a group 13 for a girls weekend and we had plenty of space to spread out! The pool was an awesome addition and the outdoor space was so much fun! One day we stayed at the house all day and had a cookout- perfect space for it! Plus, the neighborhood is extremely safe and beautiful! Everyone person in our group was blown away and wants to book again for their own family!

I would highly recommend this house! The owner was great to work with, responsive and helpful. The house was even better than the pictures. We had a multi generation family reunion and spent the days around the pool and evenings around the fire pit. We would definitely rent here again!If you’re looking for accessibility information, there were two steps up to the front door. From the house onto the pool area there was one step down. Additionally there is one step from the wood deck area to the cement pool deck and fire pit area. There are no steps up or down on the main level of the house, which has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
