2Bedroom Kapa'a Suite at Oceanfront Resort

The perfect location for exploring all of Kauai. A quiet resort right on the beach. Lovely grounds. Pool, child's pool and sand box, hot tub, spa on site, fitness center. The restaurant (Hukilau Lanai) isone of the best restaurants on the island. Island style decor, private lanai. Full kitchen, washer and dryers, dishwasher. This is a resort with staff and concierge. 3 story buildings with no elevators. There are handicapped units available. Master bedroom has a King bed, the other has 2 twin beds which can be pushed together to make a double bed and there is a full size hide-a-bed in the living room. The resort calls this a "Garden view" room but all units have partial ocean views.
The resort will require a credit card on check-in and will charge a daily resort fee (usually around $20 daily for the room).
There is a lovely walkway along the beach there. The beach is narrow, but sandy, with a rocky ledge for tidepools. We have snorkeled right off the beach, which is protected from the waves by an outer reef. You can walk to the Lava Lava Beach Club and sit with your feet in the sand for breakfast or other meals. The other hotels along the walkway also have bars and restaurants. The Coconut Marketplace is right next door for shopping.

C-19 Visit

We had a two week stay. One without restrictions and one with restrictions so two different vacations! The grounds are nice but our unit needs some updating. This was our 5th trip to the islands. We know that all food needs stored in containers or plastic zip bags. Would be nice if storage containers were supplied so we wouldn't waste plastic or garbage space with zip bags! A couple coffee table books of the birds/flowers/trees/tropical fish of the islands would be nice (have had on other 4 stays). This is a time-share so that is on the resort. The pool is a little small and only 4' deep. Housekeeping & grounds crews fantastic. FYI-daily housekeeping was available at no extra fee with this owners level - I did not know that till 5 days in - but could have been my misunderstanding.

Exceeded our Expectations

We were very impressed with this property. The unit it self was very spacious. The rooms were HUGE! Bathrooms were big as well. It was set up well with a nice eat in kitchen with a large table, 2 balconies, central air conditioning etc. The property grounds are perfect, the pool has a nice resort feel, lots of lounge chairs, and even lounge chairs on the grass very close to the ocean. The location is so convent. Walk to markets or several dining options. Easy access to both sides of the island. We would defiantly book again if we come back to Kauai. Janet was very prompt in answering any questions I had, she was great to work with.
