Stunning 3 storey villa with beautiful views over Kalkan Bay .Heated Pool .

Villa Antik is a stunning, spacious, light and airy 3 bedroom 3 storey villa with a large heated private pool and terrace located in an elevated position with panoramic views over Kalkan and the Taurus mountains. The villa's design is based on the Bosporus mansions of Istanbul. The Villa is approximately a 10 minute walk from the centre of Kalkan (or a short 5 minute cab ride at a cost of approximately ÂŁ3)

The Villa has a large private heated pool ( the heating will be turned on when required ) and dining area with attractive planted gardens and a BBQ for guests use. There are plenty of sun loungers and sunshades.

On the ground floor there is a large lounge and dining area and newly refurbished kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and water cooler as well as others usual appliances. The lounge has a 40" smart TV with an x-box, DVD player and a large selection of DVD's to watch. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided

The first floor has a large double bedroom with its own balcony and en-suite bathroom. Another twin bedroom also has ensuite bathroom. Finally there is an attractive communal terrace seating area, framed with 2 large pillars and boasting stunning views across the harbour and out to sea.

The second floor is a master suite with private dressing area, a balcony and a stunning jacuzzi bathroom with views over the bay. Some say it has the ' best jacuzzi view in Kalkan ' .

Sadly the reviews of this property on Vrbo do not reflect our experience. The standard of cleanliness was very poor to the point I had to request for the property to be re cleaned on the day of our arrival and I had to also clean some areas of the villa myself. The general quality of furniture and beds was of poor quality which led to a bad nights sleep most nights. On a positive note the villa is in a convenient quiet peaceful area with stunning views. No sun by pool area after 16.30 but this can sometimes be a welcome relief after a hot day in the sun.

Two wonderful weeks

Villa Antik was perfect for our needs, especially its location. The pool was great and the living areas roomy and comfortable. The villa was very clean and the bedrooms spacious.The property manager was super efficient and really helpful in offering suggestions and advice to make our stay even more memorable.Maeve could not have been more supportive throughout the booking process and during and after our stay.Our only quibble was the ensuite in one of the bedrooms. The shower kept flooding the floor and there was a leak from somewhere which was still waiting to be fixed when we left. The constant presence of water on the floor unfortunately led to an unpleasant smell.However, judging by the rapid response of Maeve and the property manager to all queries, and their attention to detail, we have no doubt that this issue will already have been dealt with.

Fabulous Villa!

Our first visit to Kalkan having previously stayed in Kas. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. Villa Antik is just perfect, beautifully decorated, fabulous heated pool and amazing views. Maeve is so helpful providing information on trips, restaurants, shopping and arranging transfers etc. Muhammet was also great, we called him for a water refill and it arrived in minutes! We highly recommend Villa Antik and can’t wait to go back, hopefully for two weeks next time!!

Second stay at Antik and won’t go anywhere else now!

We stayed at Villa Antik in Oct-22 and Oct-24 and our repeat visit says it all. It’s a beautiful villa, has everything you need, great location (yes, steep hills down into town but that’s all of Kalkan), beautiful views, heated pool, bbq, etc. Most importantly, the host Maeve is absolutely lovely. She’s always available on WhatsApp to help with anything and always happy to provide advice on the area, taxis, beach clubs etc. Muhammet is on hand locally too to organise airport transfers, refill water, and any other issues during your stay (unlikely). We will definitely stay again and highly recommend to others!

Family trip

We loved Kalkan and the property- service from the owner was fantastic and there was someone local to sort out a few minor issues very quickly. Pool was wonderful and everything was very clean and well appointed. Town was walkable but hills were very steep- taxis are very cheap. I would highly recommend the property.. the only negative I would say is that if you were travelling with toddlers or the elderly the stairs are very steep and made of stone.

Fantastic property and location

We enjoyed a fabulous week at this 3 storey property with amazing views in Kalkan Bay. The owner was very responsive prior to our visit, suggesting restaurants, day trips and organising our transfers to and from the airport. The villa itself was clean and spacious, the pool and air conditioning were welcome as temperatures hit the high 30's. Trips into the town were just a quick taxi ride. There are many restaurants (Lal was our favourite) and we'd also recommend the sunset boat trip which was amazing. We'd recommend this villa to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday in the sun with great food and entertainment just a stones throw away.

Fabulous Villa!

We had a fantastic holiday. Amazing week in Kalkan at Villa Antic

Great villa providing all amenities we could need for our stay. Well equipped kitchen, spacious accommodation and clean, comfortable rooms. The views in particular were a real highlight, something beautiful to look at from every room. Hosts were great with communication, very fast to respond and get the property manager on site if needed. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing Villa

We had a fantastic holiday in this villa. The pool was amazing and the kids were in it all day every day. The Villa was clean and well equipped. The location felt safe and was quiet with amazing views down onto Kalkan. It is a walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants and the incline back home was too much to walk but with readily available cheap taxis it was never a problem. The property owner was really helpful and on hand to provide any help or advice needed and gave lots of fantastic recommendations of restaurants and day trips.

Fantastic villa in a great location

We had a lovely 11 nights in Villa Antik. Nothing was too much trouble for the host both before and during our stay. Both the Villa and the pool were spotless, the pool was cleaned regularly throughout our stay and on day 6 housekeeping came and cleaned the Villa. The location is perfect. Away from the hubbub of the town and yet only a 10 minute walk away (taxi back as the steep incline was too much in the heat!) And the views are absolutely stunning. Loads to do in the area, many attractions recommended by the host and lots of contacts and details given to help us book boat tours, beach clubs and restaurants. We definitely recommend staying at Villa Antik!

Fabulous stay for our first time in Kalkan!

We were a family of 4 adults and 2 young kids (6 and 8) and this was our first time in Turkey. We had a fantastic stay in Villa Antik and would definitely stay again. The owner, Maeve, was really helpful beforehand giving us all sorts of information on the villa and the local area, as well as numbers for taxis etc. The property manager in Kalkan was also very easy to reach via whatsapp on the few occasions we needed him. Check in was totally painless - man was there to greet us with a key. Checkout likewise - key in a safe box. Water delivered when we needed it (TL40/ÂŁ2 for a huge bottle to go in the dispenser - don't drink the water in Turkey!). We stayed in October and therefore needed pool heating. The temperature was absolutely perfect every day of our 11 day stay. Location is great - about 15 minute walk into town (with kids) but it is on a VERY steep hill so you have to be very careful you don't slip. Not good for anyone with any disabilities or impairments. All the villas on this side of town are though and it's very easy to get a taxi. TL60/ÂŁ3 each way and they arrive very quickly. Village has a big taxi rank where they are always waiting to take you back (you wouldn't want to walk back up the hill). The local migros supermarket on the main street into town has a very handy taxi button you just press when you've done your shopping and a taxi arrives within 5 minutes. No car required (we didn't have one). There isn't much within easy walking distance though because of the hills so you can't "pop out" for a quick coffee or loaf of bread without doing some serious climbing. The villa is a little dated in parts and more of a traditional style. I.e. it isn't a newly built modern villa with all the latest tech etc. But we love that and though we saw a few minor things that could be improved (which I've communicated to the owner), it certainly wouldn't stop us staying again. All round a fab stay in Kalkan and we would definitely stay again!

Another fabulous trip to Kalkan

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay at Villa Antik. The villa was extremely spacious with a nice sized pool and exactly as described in the brief with far reaching views over the bay. The night view was simply amazing. The proximity to town was also great - as we all know in Kalkan, walk down, cab back up! Villa Antik exceeded expectations and Maeve and Muhammet both were extremely friendly and helpful in giving advice and tips to make our holiday complete. Kalkan has lots to offer from the many beach clubs, fantastic restaurants, markets, excursions, Padi diving etc.. We love it. Thank you Maeve - we hope to return some day.

Villa Antik is a beautiful property with stunning views, particularly from the top floor bedroom and en-suite. We had a great holiday, with the villa as described and probably even better than the photos. The communication with both the owner and local manager was extremely easy and helpful. Kalkan has many good restaurants and bars with a mix for every age group and the taxi's are very cheap, which is a good job as the hill back is quite a challenge (as was the state of the roads up the hill). Locally I would recommend hiring a boat for the day, Kas and Patara beach, ruins and village. Overall a great holiday and even better Villa.

Super spacious

Maeve and Muhammet ensured that everything was just perfect for us at the villa. The penthouse was fab! Amazing space everywhere with everything we needed for our 12 night stay including towels and pool towels The transfers and car hire were arranged by Muhammet and everything was spot on. We like having a car in Kalkan so we can get about during the stay but there are loads of taxi's if you don't want a car. We personally found the beds a bit firm but this is normal for Turkey! The pool area was well equipped with beds and had the sun until around 4.30pm The villa was cleaned half way through the stay and water topped up on request Overall we had a lovely time in Villa Antik

A lovely villa with stunning views of the bay. All the facilities you need for your holiday. Great room sizes with top bedroom having a great jacuzzi bath with fab view. The pool was cold at first, but got warmer as the week went on and as weather got hotter. The only negative was that it got shady by 4pm in the afternoon. We had a lovey holiday and the host was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had and also left us a welcome pack.(with wine-Thank you).

Wonderful place!

Maeve was fantastic and full of info about where to eat, what to do, and allowed us to check-in early. The house is beautiful and in a great location that is quiet. It is easy to get anywhere you want to quickly and is not far from the neighboring cities and sites. The pool is a great size, with adjustable cushioned lounge chairs and three umbrellas to provide much-needed shade during the day. The city and harbor of Kalkan are visible from the 2nd and 3rd floors. There is a beautiful and VERY spacious master on the 3rd floor. The master bathroom has an amazingly huge jacuzzi tub with a potentially spectacular view of the city. Sadly, once you get in the tub, you lose sight of the harbor and a good bit of the city. The jets on the tub did not work while we stayed there (not a deal-breaker for us). However, the tub is still a fantastic feature without the jets. There are two bedrooms on the second floor; one room is very spacious with a bathroom/shower, and a balcony facing the pool, town, and harbor. The other room on the second floor has two twin beds in it, and though it is considerably smaller, it was a good size for two kids with plenty of room, and with a bathroom/shower. There is a half bath on the 1st floor with the kitchen, dining area, and living room. Split A/Cs worked well (4 A/C - 1 in each room and 1 in the living room that cools the downstairs area well). The following information is meant to be informative, not negative or critical of the property (just passing on information if you choose to stay here). There are no kitchen towels, paper towels, laundry soap, seasonings, spices provided, and there weren't any extra toilet paper rolls or trash bags. There is no coffee machine/maker/french press of any kind in the villa. We were blessed with dish soap, a sponge, 1/2 dozen eggs, butter, cheese, a carton of milk and juice, a jar of jam and olives, dishwashing tablets, and some tomatoes. We were there in August, and the house gets full-on sun from 8:00-15:30. Very little shade during the day. Around 15:15-15:30, part of the right-hand side of the patio and pool area starts to get some shade. Around 16:00, most of the pool and the poolside area is shaded. Because of the house's location and position, you can view the sun rising over the Taurus mountains nearby, but there are no sunset views. Bed firmness and softness is a personal opinion; if you like firm beds, you will like these beds. Thanks, Maeve! We had a great family vacation!

Traumhafte Villa mit tollem Pool

Wir waren mit zwei kleineren Kindern fĂŒr eine Woche in der Villa. Die Villa ist ein Traum, genug Platz fĂŒr 6 Personen, der Pool ist super und man hat einen tollen Ausblick ĂŒber die Bucht von Kalkan. Die Zimmer waren alle schön groß, jedes Zimmer hat sein eigenes Bad. Sehr praktisch ist es, dass man auch eine Waschmaschine hat. Wir haben auch den Grill ohne Probelem nutzen können. Die Vermieterin war immer fĂŒr uns da und hat uns super Tipps gegeben. Die Lage ist auch super, zum KaputaƟ Strand braucht man mit dem Auto 10 min, nach KaƟ 30 min. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall dringend zu empfehlen. Die Innenstadt von Kalkan ist 3 min mit dem Auto entfernt, dort findet man viele tolle Restaurants und GeschĂ€fte. Die Villa wĂŒrde ich absolut weiterempfehlen, wenn wir nach Kalkan kommen, wĂŒrde ich immer diese Unterkunft wĂ€hlen.

Spacious, modern, well equipped villa with heated pool

We went back to this villa a second time as we enjoyed our stay so much last year. We love the heated pool, spacious accommodation and the location overlooking beautiful Kalkan. Can highly recommend for a wonderful family holiday.

Perfect escape

My sister and I and our 2 daughters were looking for a week away to escape and unwind, and we couldn't have chosen a better villa. We've been to Kalkan a few times before, and this is undoubtedly the best place we've stayed. Villa itself is a great layout, pool and terrace really spacious, and the views are amazing. Maeve is the perfect host, incredibly friendly and super responsive. Highly, highly recommended on all aspects.
