My experience with this hotel was horrible I arrived at aprox 4pm and got settled in my room l had my little dog with me I returned at 830pm The doors close at 8pm so one has to walk through the bar to get to your room That I did not mind l got a phone call to ask if that was my dog who had walked through the bar with me I said yes They said I had to leave

Sorry your stay did not go as planned, but our hotel is not - nor has it ever been pet friendly. Our description online clearly states that pets are not allowed and had you asked the question at the time of your booking you would have been told that and been able to avoid the situation. It is my understanding that you also attempted to convince the staff on duty that you had been told it was OK for you to bring a pet to the hotel. I can tell you unequivocally, that no one working at this hotel would have said that to you! Sometimes when rules are broken (or even ignored entirely) there are consequences, as was the case here.

Outstanding hotel room and view

Pros: Loved the room and the view. Want to come back in summer.
Cons: Service in restaurant was a bit slow.
Don't judge hotel by outside view or lobby. Rooms are larger than normal and nicely decorated. Outside views are gorgeous with large outside balcony. The food special, halibut, was great!
