Raj and the staff are A+. They continually go out of their way to make sure that all of your questions are answered and your needs are met. I was made to feel like the hotel was literally my home away from home. I ended up extending my stay multiple times because of the amazing hospitality and experience that I had here. Raj can direct you to some great restaurants and bakeries in the area as well as any activities that you may have interest in. I feel grateful for my time at my “friends home” hotel.

Great little Hotel in Kathmandu
Nice hotel ideal location for exploring once you get your bearings :)) Very good value. What made it for us was the staff. Couldn't help enough and sorted our tour to Chitwan National Park, which is a must despite the 6 hour bus journey

All of the staff were excellent and attentive to my needs. For a clean and safe place in Thamel, at the price point, it can't be beat. Like most places in Kathmandu in this budget range, some things might be rough around the edges, but I loved my stay at the Hotel Friend's Home due to service, cleanliness, and a great breakfast! Note there is no elevator.

EXCELLENT!!
EXCELLENT STAY, 10/10!!! The staff is so nice and location is great! We went to EBC trekking for 12 days and they kept some of our luggages while we were away. We came back after our adventure for our last night in Katmandou and we had an excellent service. We recommend this hotel.
