More guest amenities needed

Expected more guest amenities for the room rate charged. Room was basic and surprisingly didnt have a mini refrigerator or microwave. Lighting in room was dim and not easy on eyes. Rooms are spread out over the property in sections which was like dormitories. Once you check in, you must get in your car and drive to your section of the building and park. If you have more than a roller bag, it isnt easy to carry more items to the room because of walking distance. To enter the section of building where our room was located, we had to go through a side door and down a long hallway to get to the room. Providing rolling carts or a way to transport items and luggage from the car would make it an easier task. The main lobby and eating area are in a separate building from the sleeping rooms which would require one to get out in inclement weather to enter this area. There is no internet or complimentary breakfast available for guest.

The place is outdated. The beds aren’t comfortable, the air conditioning didn’t cool the room much and it was noisy. The fan in the bathroom was noisy and didn’t work well. They provided I bar of soap and one shampoo. You could hear the neighbors. Outside was dirty and unkempt. Mattresses by the trash bins. No one cleaned the outside of the hotel and it was obvious. $215 was way over priced for what we got. When you’re the only hotel with rooms I guess you can price gouge

Tucked at the end of the valley, seen in the background, tranquil atmosphere. Wonderful Food at the Mesa Grill, portions huge and price great. Staff professional and rooms were tidy, soft, updated. Pool under the sky perfect!!

Kayenya Monument Valley inn

The Inn was perfect for our simple needs. The staff were friendly and facilities good, in general. We really enjoyed the pool after a long day on the road. The facilities were let down, a bit, by no WiFi availability and a faulty coffee machine.

This is a nice property. It’s not new and it’s not fancy but it’s not priced that way either. Best of all, it’s clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Very happy with the stay. Will return!

Our stay was an average stay. For the price you have to pay, you would expect much better, but it was average. We did not get to try the restaurant that was on site but I'm sure it was expensive.
