We loved our stay at Phivos Villa. It is beautifully furnished and well equipped with the best view of the mountains and sea. We found it was the perfect position to explore the island and we visited a different beach every day of our stay. There was a wonderful bakery nearby and many lovely restaurants to choose from. We had a brilliant time and hope to return one day.

Beautiful place with all for a fabulous vacation

We had a fantastic vacation with our family at Phivos Villa - the whole vibe of the villa, incredibly complete and spacious, with a large, wonderful pool and various areas to sit, dine, relax, with full privacy and great views and for us the ideal location - nearby (ca 10 minutes drive) many good restaurants, boat rental (at Agia Effimia), or e.g Mythos beach. Highly recommended!

We very much enjoyed our recent stay in the villa. After a long day and night full of travel, it was a welcomed surprise to find the villa fully equipped with just about everything we would need. Welcome basket with food assortments and fresh bread were a nice twist! A car is a must for this location because you do have to drive down a few quiet country roads to get there. It is very well located, approximate to just about everything you would want to see. It is only 5 minutes into Agia Efimia for food, grocery and excursion options. The neighboring town of Divarata is very closeby with a few more restaurant options and grocery. There is a bakery that is walkable from the villa and some nearby tavernas walkable, too. Myrtos is 6 min away and just about everything else 30-45 min drive. We enjoyed a nice pool day at the house. Three bedrooms with A/C in rooms and three bathrooms total. Showers are tiny, but you can overcome this with care. Grounds and views are gorgeous. Owner has excellent communication. Caretaker checked on us day 2 and pool/grounds guy came quietly each morning. What a beautiful place. Highly recommend!

Stunning and beautiful Phivos villa in northern Kefalonia where myself and family spent 2 gorgeous weeks. Perfect location to tour the most beautiful parts of the island from. Surrounded by mountains, sea views and a pure natural Mediterranean garden in full bloom, Wow. Large clean pool and outdoor area accompanied with a well appointed, comfortable and homely villa. Lovely friendly and experienced hosts. Though the villa location felt rural it’s only a short 10 minute drive to the unspoilt local harbour village of Agia Efimia where you are blessed with many excellent taverns and bars to choose from. Some of the best snorkelling and swimming beaches are within easy distance though a hire car is a must. We fully recommend this Gem of a villa to others and hope to return one day. Lovely relaxing villa in a great quiet location. Plenty to do in north of the island and a great base to venture out from. Sea front village has a supermarket, bakery, bars and some fantastic tavernas. Pool was warm, furniture comfortable only thing i would change is the loungers or for them to have a bit more padding, but a small thing that certainly wouldnt stop us returning in the future.

GREAT PRIVATE LOCATION

WE LOVED THIS HOUSE. HUGE PROPERTY WITH HUGE POOL AND LOTS OF PRIVACY. THE BEST PART OF KEFALONIA - CLOSE TO AGIA EFFIMIA AND MYRTOS BEACH. BEAUTIFULLY SUNRISES 0VER THE BAY FROM THE UPPER TERRACE. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE VERY SMALL BATHROOMS. THE SHOWERS WERE TINY WHICH MEANT WATER ALL OVER THE FLOOR. BUT LOVED THE DESIGN OF THE REST OF THE HOUSE.

FANTASTIC!!

Fabulous villa in a fantastic location. Phivos villa was everything we were hoping for & more. Beautifully decorated & well equipped with a lovely outdoor kitchen bbq area were we spent many evenings. In a quite area with only one other villa just outside the village of Agia Effimia it's well located to be able to explore the island as well as have quiet time relaxing by the pool. Phivos was an extremely helpful host answering any questions we had as well as arranging taxi transfers from when we booked all throughout our stay. We visited in June with 3 older teens & all throughly enjoyed the villa & the island of Kefalonia. If you love being adventurous i would highly recommend hiring quads from Motoround in Argostoli a great way to see the beauty of Kefaloni, a boat from from boulevard boat (jonny) in Agia efimia to explore the coves. Also Antisamos beach for watersports. We would definitely return to the Villa again.

Spectacular Villa

We waited three years to finally get our dream holiday in Kefalonia and it was well worth the wait
.both the villa and the island of Kefalonia did not disappoint. The villa has everything
.and more, from the special touches such as the welcome hamper with a selection of the basics to get you started when you first arrive to simple things such as washing powder, soft towels and wonderful bed linen just made this villa exceptional. The pool is fabulous and the location is just exquisite
so tranquil and peaceful but a stones throw from Agia Effimia which is a beautiful and friendly Green village. I sound like I’m advertising but we really couldn’t fault this villa, it’s location, service and the wonderful Greek people

A charming Experience exceeding expectations

The Villa was excellent - loads of space inside and out, Lovely pool, location & views. Phivos was very helpful before and during our stay - nothing was too much trouble (even when our car wouldn't start)! Would highly recommend (Could probably do with a few more mugs & glasses in the kitchen but as we were at the end of the season, I assume there had been a few breakages) We will be back !

Off the grid yet 5 minutes away from the beautiful Agia Effimia.

The property is very well thought out. Tastefully decorated. Quality furnishings. In fact we would move in tomorrow just as it is. The place is silent at night and during the day you hear very little. The villa is very private and the pool is a very good size. One word of advice, if you use the oven watch the temperature because it’s incredibly efficient; quality again! I can’t fault the property at all, if you want a peaceful break in a very good quality villa look no further.

We loved the villa. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We liked the varied spaces to eat and relax both in and outside the villa. The swimming pool is excellent, large enough for a good swim and to play ball games. We came with our 3 grown up children and the space worked really well for us. The welcoming hamper was much appreciated. We loved the location, quiet and secluded but not far from the tavernas in Agia Effimia. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Phivos.

Villa Phivos is a beautiful villa in an ideal location

The villa has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. There are lots of thoughtful touches and we loved being there. The pool and pool area is lovely with amazing views. The barbecue area is very well kitted out and provides a comfortable shady area to sit. The gardens were beautiful too. The villa feels very remote but you are only 5 mins drive from the lovely little port of Ag Efimia where there are lots of places to eat (all good). It is also in an ideal location for exploring the north of the island which we thought was the prettiest. We hope to return as we loved this place and the people so much.

The villa is well appointed, well designed and very comfortable. It has great indoor and outdoor areas, a good kitchen and covered BBQ area, a variety of different locations to relax in so that if you’re in a group you can retreat for some time alone, It is away from other people but just a few minutes drive from a few villages with bakery, butcher, shops, cafes restaurants, local beauty spots and gorgeous sea swimming, in case you didn’t feel like using the great pool at the Villa. There was a great welcome hamper to ease us into our stay and a welcome visit to make sure we were properly settled and oriented. Pre-arrival communications and help were excellent. Lovely to spend time here, one week was too short!

An amazing place to stay!

This was our fourth visit to Phivos Villa and it's always like coming home. The villa is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It's in a lovely quiet location amidst the olive trees and convenient for visiting all the gorgeous beauty spots, although you do need transport here. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect, didn't want to leave!

Beautifully presented villa of exceptional quality of furnishings for an upmarket yet cosy feel. The views every morning were stunning, village sweet and has everything you need whether you want to eat out or cook at the villa. Amanda visiting the first full day was nice and it was good to have some extra information if we wanted to explore which was our intention but with only a weeks holiday we ended up chilling to the max and having to force ourselves to venture out. The outside kitchen and dining/seating area was a big pull for us when we viewed all villas we liked, this one was great! We would recommend a jeep like car to manage the long rocky track as every time we took our hire car out we winced when we heard a noise in case of sudden damage from rocks to the underside! We did get woken at 7am Sunday morning by a bulldozer close and clearly another villa is going to be built soon so I would consider that build noise if we wanted to book the villa again in 2018. Having all towels and good bed linen provided and changed during our stay was excellent, the robes came in handy after we had jumped into the pool a couple of times- October isn't the best season for unheated pool dipping unless you are very young and don't feel the cold but it was fun nonetheless! Superb laundry area in the cellar which was a reminder that you don't need to pack so much when facilities like this are at your fingertips. A wonderful villa and situated in a fabulous position, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend either of the villas to others. Kefalonia is beautiful and I know we will be back to the island for sure - especially as we didn't visit the caves or get to hire a local boat etc. Do pack good quality mosquito repellent and if you can citronella tea lights as you may not see the blighters but you feel their bites later on! We did buy and leave a fly swat too for persistent wasps but it's just as we have experienced in other Mediterranean countries. Go, enjoy, you won't be disappointed! Fantastically well- equipped villa in a wonderful setting

Me and my partner had the most relaxing holiday ever at Villa Phivos. It is situated so that you get hillside and sea views from all of the balconies and seating areas, the view down to the harbour from the top balcony is amazing. There was a welcome hamper on our arrival consisting of wine, honey, jam, biscuits etc plus a loaf of fresh bread and a bowl full of fresh fruit, a truly wonderful gesture. The maid and pool man were very polite and the Villa and grounds were kept tidy and clean. The Villa is only 10 minutes from Myrtos beach, 5 minutes drive to Agia Efimia, 15 from Assos and it only took half an hour back from Fiskardo so is situated in a perfect position for exploring the best (Northern) part of the island. We enjoyed the outside seating area and had BBQs every other night, again everything is supplied along with towels, parasols for the beach even a cool bag so we picnicked for breakfast on Myrtos beach and stayed till the sun set. We enjoyed it so much we have vowed to return, hopefully longer than 2 weeks as it simply wasn't long enough!,
