As Advertised
The property was just as advertised. There was a large pool and hot tub but it was closed. Not sure of the reason. We were located on the 3rd floor above the parkade and there was little noise in the building. There is also security in the building. Walkable to grocery stores and coffee shops under 2 Km. Coffee shop attached to the complex. If back in kelowna we would stay there again.

more positives, than negatives
The condo had what we needed. Nice to have lots of little extras when we arrived to tide us over till we shopped...like coffee supplies and some bathroom supplies. Lots of clean towels. Seating area in living room was perfect for us. The Telus optic tv a bit frustrating to figure out. The improvements needed, queen mattress needs to be replaced, (a bit lumpy) , queen fitted sheet too big, kept coming off, no mattress cover on it, (I found some mattress covers later in the closet) top bunk bed squeaked whenever you move. Front door would stick, so it was hard to tell if you unlocked it properly, maintenance was supposed to come, never came. Two of the amenities at the resort were closed indefinitely. We still had a wonderful time in Kelowna! We walked to the beaches and restaurants. Fairly short drive to downtown and shopping.

Playa Del Sol is perfectly located, close to the beach and not far from downtown. My kids loved the pool and hot tub! Staying on the pool level floor was perfect for us with smaller kids, less hassle going back and forth to the rooms and more room for the kids to play outside! Condo was stocked with lots of dishes and utensils you need to cook as well as some main spices which was great. Lots of towels as well for showers and the pool! The only complaint we had is that the rooms are needing some updates. The property is a number of years old now and I think it's time owners do a little re-fresh as wear and tear is starting to show on walls and furniture. Our condo was clean, but definitely could have used a deep clean. Baseboards were very dusty and you could see some splashes on the walls in places. These are just nit picky things, but cleanliness is important to us. The property manager who met us and kept in communication during our stay, Ian, was great. Quick to respond and met us exactly when we said we arrived.

Family Getaway to Kelowna
The unit was a great location in the resort. Very quiet and close to pool. The amenities in the kitchen and bathroom need a bit of an upgrade. The appliances and cutlery were dirty and had to be washed before use. I think that is because the lid for the detergent in the dishwasher is broken, so it's not likely cleaning everything well. Also, there were only two coffee cups for a room that sleeps 6. The pool was closed for a full day due to maintenance, so that put a damper on the morning for the kids. Overall, we had a great stay and would reserve this unit again.
