Omly Motel we could find that excepts Australian guests and is riun by aussies. 8.30lm Sat night check in was great. Taree to Kempsey all of the Indian Motels said 'No, fully booked- The room was great the amenities fantastic. I checked in at 10am and was told my room would not be ready till 12 noon. I accepted that and the receptionist asked me if I was i town for the race day and I replied yes. I was not able to access my room till 1pm. The race day started at 12.30pm and as I was working there I needed to be there by 12.30pm. I felt some priority could have been given to my room so I could have arrived to work on time. With the delay in getting in at the gate at the races I lost 1.5 hours pay.
